I'm ready for this weekend.  I have no plans beyond the F1 race and seeing Mom, but I really need some breathing room.  Work is just stressful right now.  I'm still thankful b/c it's WFH which means stressful isn't compounded by office stuff/personalities/drama.  It's simply just a lot of work right now, while some new procedures get settled in.  It's weird not having daily trauma from work.

I'd like to go see a movie, but I always go to the Alamo Drafthouse.  It's nearly impossible to get out of there without dropping $50 between tickets and snacks (which are harder to avoid since it's a restaurant) and with the move next month, I'm really tightening the budget.  I might just rent something online and eat popcorn at home.  

Otherwise, SSDD.  Any big plans for the weekend?

We're going to be busy!

Today the kids are serving for Good Friday and then later Chiquita is part of the youth group putting on Living Stations.  The students will dress in period appropriate clothing and reenact the stations of the cross.  It's at our church and was really moving to experience last year (my intent isn't to preach and I get that this isn't for everyone!).  Saturday I sell Girl Scout cookies w/ Chiquita for a few hours and we have downtime before we hope to see an event at the HS if we are up to it.  Then Sunday is Easter so we'll have baskets and Mass and head to my brother's and FBIL's for the event.  So I'm NOT cleaning my house from top to bottom!

It's a busy weekend here, too. I'm doing laundry tonight. Tomorrow, I'm baking dinner rolls and desserts, helping DH shower, and giving him a haircut. Then, I'll touch up the cleaning in the bathrooms and kitchen. On Sunday, I'll be hosting my family after church. We'll hang out and maybe play some ladder golf is the weather is nice. Will also go through some things with Mom regarding her stay while I'm gone.

Monday is work, grocery shopping, packing, and picking up last-minute items. Tuesday is work with a big meeting from 4 to 5 p.m., with the results of a work unit climate survey that HR did. Then, a nail appointment and final packing. I need to be at the local airport at 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, so I'm hoping to sleep well the night before.

My biopsy site looked worse, so I sent a picture through the patient portal to the dermatologist. She put me on 0 days of antibiotics. Hopefully, this will take care of any bugs that may be starting.

It's been a really wild week at work and I'm totally looking forward to the weekend. With no kids, easter weekend just isn't a big deal. We'll do a run in the park tomorrow and a shit load of yard work. The grass is already getting too long. I'm hoping to get some errands and house chores done too. Sunday we're supposed to go to my parents' and I'm not excited about it. My relationship with my mom has been fraught lately and I just don't want to deal with it. 

At least the weather is absolutely gorgeous. I will probably be outside the whole weekend.

Also a long wild week at work and realistically I only worked 2.5 days! H and I have been putting together an armoire and now I’m very tired but it’s almost done!
