Busy-ish weekend but all nice things.  Oldest DD has a middle school dance later this evening, tomorrow is my niece's Communion, and the rest of the time will just be a mix of grading, cleaning, cooking, reading, and laundry.  All of which I'll take

Busy night!  We sell cookies and Chiquita has to be on stage crew for an event at the HS.  

The weather for this weekend looks less than spectacular so most of the things the kids had to do are canceled.  Chiquita starts prep for her procedure Monday so DH did the great job of picking up some Pepsi and Ginger Ale and Sunday she's on full liquid diet. 

I'm hoping with a mostly sedentary Sunday that I can make big strides in getting the house in better shape for guests.

We ordered the boys new beds and they arrive yesterday. Need to do a bit of cleanup in their room (filling nail holes, painting a random section of their closet, etc) then we can get them put together and their room rearranged! I think they will like having more of a "big guy" room. N tells me all the time "Mom, i'm actually a big kid, i'm just a little Brother", lol, he's 3. 

Our master bath is officially unhooked/unusable. We need to finish demo over the next couple weeks (doing that part ourselves) while we wait for new fixtures/etc. Excited to actually move forward with some of the fun things in our house instead of just fixing stuff that breaks! 

Weekend should be nice. Workout tomorrow morning, then either hanging at home or the zoo or childrens museum (we're members of both!). Sunday meeting up with a friend of G's that moved a few months ago for a park/lunch date. Weather is perfect (for me) - a tiny bit chilly but sunny.

I got a lot done today. My biannual bloodwork was done. For some reason I thought labs were open at 5:30 but it was 6:30. I could have eaten up to 6;30 last night! Argh. Then home to mow my lawn, then clean out my car and organize my purses with a new purse rack I bought and is just awesome. 

I went to lock my door this morning and the key wouldn’t fit. It was cut inside the keyhole and unfixable. The last time I tried on my own, I failed and it was $350 to get a locksmith out (2020 prices too). And I supplied the hardware! So I asked around and my friend said she know how to do them. So yay. She’s coming by tomorrow to change them for me before we head on over to trivia/dinner.

Tired week here, ready for the weekend. Not much going on and the weather is finally nice so planning to spend a lot of time outside!
