It's going to be a long day so I'm bracing for that.  Very SSDD otherwise.
  • Ugh! Start the “low tire pressure” censors on my car season. My tire censors go on when it starts in cold weather, and my app alerts me every time the car is started. My tires were never low. It takes FOREVER to get the censor to go away, and it’s not even cold enough imo for this ish to start. It was 50!
yesterday I booked a pedicure appt and a hair appt back to back. The guy worked WAY too long on a horrible, hurty leg massage than he did on my feet so my nail polish dry time was cut short in order to make my hair appt. He was SO proud of his massage and kept asking “how does it feel? How does it feel? I’m also a masseuse”. It feels painful dude! Focus on making my nails look pretty, not how my legs feel. So when I put my sandals on too soon I messed up the polish. It’s just a basic black, thank goodness, so I’ll run over on my lunch to grab a bottle and do a touch up.

  • LOL I love a deep leg massage when I have a pedicure. That is the reason I go to the person I do.

It rained here yesterday and it is beautiful today. Temperatures dropped to fall levels so sleeping last night was wonderful. I'm grabbing the last bit of basil out of my garden to make pesto today to freeze. We have tickets to our local repertory theater tonight. We'll go out for a quick dinner beforehand. I'm pulling stuff together for our trip everyday now.
  • I think it'll hit my car tomorrow.   I'll have to see if parking in the garage now makes it change but at least my app shows me what the pressure is for each tire and we have a compressor if needed.

  • Loving the chilly mornings. This is my "sleep with the windows open" weather :)

SSDD here. Trying to figure out something fun do do next Monday when the boys are off school. G has an early oncology followup then thinking maybe pumpkin patch or zoo!

I made chicken pot pie soup on Monday and it's delish and the leftovers are hitting the spot for lunch today.
  • Good afternoon!!  The Garbage concert was amazing. We went in at 7 and walked all the way to the front. I was only about 20 feet from Shirley. Their opener was great, though their mix was terrible and hearing their front woman was hard.  My body is still feeling the "standing for 4 hours on cement" bit it was worth it. I almost had a fight with the people behind me, who were planning to rush the stage. Dude says, There's no one in front of us but old people".  I turned around and glared at him. He quickly added, "Including me."  The woman of the group did try to say excuse me and push by me. Me shouldering her backwards seemed to put a stop to that pretty quickly. I was NOT going to lose my spot. If you want the front of the stage, you get there early, period.  It was a pretty awesome blend of ages.

Had to drive about half of the way through a pretty intense storm. We pulled over and waited it out for about half an hour. Rest of the drive was uneventful.

    SSDD for everything else.

  • That's so rude @VarunaTT. I'm glad you had a great time otherwise!

Well, I'm officially moved into my new (old old) spot. I was here first, and now I've done a complete 360 and I'm back. I was pretty annoyed yesterday though. They tried to muscle me into seeing complex patients and the new department patients, I said no, so I stayed in my old office for a day, but then there was no time blocked off for me to move into my new one. So I was here until 8 pm moving. The new one was a mess. A man was deeeefinitely in here last. It was just so dirty. I think I spent an hour just sanitizing and wiping everything down. I even had to clean the walls. Like dude, if you spill your coffee...at least try to wipe it up. And how many times did you spill?

Anyways, I can't wait until the weekend. It was cool and foggy here this morning. Still 79 high today, but I'll definitely take it!

  • @levioosa, at least you're all moved in now.  But that is eyerolling they didn't give you time in your normal work schedule to do it.

I am far from a fastidious house cleaner, but it's shocking the filthy conditions that people live or work in.  Especially easy stuff, like what you are talking about.  If you spill something, take a few minutes to clean it up!  It's weird not to.  I had a tenant move out and her teenage son's room had an enormous splash of (probably) soda on one wall.  It was hardened so it took a long time to clean but was also still a bit sticky and gooey.  It was gross.

  • My vote is pumpkin patch/orchard @Casadena
ugh, sounds horrible to clean up after @levioosa
looks like you got great…. Let’s see… not seats, standing spot @VarunaTT. Probably worth the torture to your legs/feet but I’d be hurting days after too.
