Good morning

How's everyone today?I'm just sitting here laughing at DH snoring so loud it's waking him up.I think it might be time to turn on the TV or music to start waking him up.What are you up to?

Re: Good morning

  • Waiting for my mom & her husband to come up. They're on their way and should be here by 12 or 1.
  • sounds like fun.  What are you doing today? We were going to go boating, but the boat is broke  :-(So think we are going to suffer at the beach and play bocce bal.l

  • Morning! Just packing up tailgating stuff and getting ready to head out to a Wake Forest football game.
  • She's coming up for meetings with vendors. Yay. Is this thing over yet? Wanna trade? Your day sounds so much better.
  • cew - how fun.  I miss tailgating.  Next month in Miami I will get a chance.

  • Packing. At the last second last night, we finally managed to pick a wedding & reception venue, and as a bonus, a first dance song. Now I'm shoving all my stuff back into bags for the 15 hour journey back to Phoenix, warm weather, no rain, Brinkley the Dog, and oh yeah, Buddy. Kind of missed that guy.

  • congrats TJ.  I know I was much calmer when we were able to finalize the venues. What is your 1st song?

  • I love tailgating. FFIL came in for the game and brought barbeque from his neck of the woods (which is the best in the state). I can't wait!
  • I'm sitting at work. Get off in less than 2 1/2 hours, then my brother's wedding is tonight, so I'm going to have a busy day.
  • I'm digging through the freezer to find chicken stock making stuff.  Big bag of freezer burnt chicken legs, that'll work perfect.  Maybe make some mango salsa later.  A neighbor is having a bonfire in his backyard tonight, so we'll buzz over there for a bit.Our old roommate used to snore like a tractor.  How he slept through it himself, and how I slept through it in the next room never ceases to amaze me.
  • Morning!  Our rings came in last night, and I'm super excited.  I'm probably going to try mine on again now that he's off to work until 3.  FMIL is dragging me out to go pick flowers that I couldn't care less about for the church.  At some point, I need to find a respectable looking rain coat and a pair of slacks.  Hopefully without FMIL.
  • I am at work... *tear*. I wanted at least 2 more hours of sleep this morning, but no chance. Puppy woke me up at 3 a.m. She was laying on me, growling at the racoon on the deck, apparently I am worth protecting (but this was only after I yelled at her for waking me up).

  • last tailgate I went to was 2 years ago a the Meadowlands (Eagles-Jets game).  It was so much fun.   Well we kind of did one at the DMB concert in FL last month, but it rained so we just drank in the limo.

  • Morning! I got called into work this morning at 6:30 blaaaah. There were things for a corporate meeting here this morning that were locked in my boss's office and since he is oot I got to come join the fun. How did the fish go down at the dinner party Lynda?
  • Good morning all! So Arbolita, what was in the awesome package?
  • It was cancelled because they guy got wasted the night before and got in trouble with his wife. So I had some of it for dinner that night.  The rest we are bringing to our weekly cookout at our friends house.  Tomorrow's cookout is going to rock.  whole filet, tuna, Red snappers caught yesterday and of course chicken for our non-red meat, non-fish eating friend.  I can't wait.

  • A previously unreleased Save Ferris song, sent to us by Monique Powell herself - along with a wedding card =)  I wasn't sure if she was actually going to send it or not, or even get it here in time for the wedding

  •  whole filet, tuna, Red snappers yum! do you have an opinion on what wine goes best with red snapper?
  • Yes, that is very awesome!
  • I loooooove Dance Hall Crashers. I didn't know anything about them until they essentially stopped touring though, which sucks.

  • Save Ferris! Man I bought a CD of theres in 10th grade when I went through my faux punk rockerish phase... I wonder what ever happened to it
  • I think all my cds are scratched to non-listening. It's sad, really.
  • Morning! Enjoying Saturday morning grits and (TJ close your ears) apples. Going to chill and clean the apt today. Tonight, I'm going to two Fashion Week shows. Pretty excited about that.
  • julez, your pic is hot.
  • Oh, and in additon to today's awesomeness, I'm going to see my grandparents to get our wedding gift from them AND I'm going to see Andrea_Lea get married <3

  • yum! do you have an opinion on what wine goes best with red snapper? While I like wine, my tastes are not sophisticated enough to pick one.The cookout will be after all of our 1pm football games, so I think the wine of choice with be 'beer'.

  • hahah I love beer too. I am actually not a snooty wine drinker either, but I am very interested in learning more about it. I was asking because I think red snapper would be an awesome fish to serve at a Wine Society meeting here at the club.
