Hello fellow Houstonians
I've posted on here once before about bridal shop reviews and I want to be more active on this board so I thought I'd introduce myself
My name is Kayla and FI's name is Kenneth. We've been together for over a year and a half. FI proposed shortly after our one year and we're getting married October 13th, 2012. We have lived together since May with my 7 year old daughter. I work in the accounting department of a local travel agency and he works for Texas City in their parks and recreation department.
We're having our wedding at the Texas Renaissance Festival. Our "theme" is kilts and fairies. We never meant to have a theme but it kind of came along by itself. The BMs and myself will be wearing wings along with our dresses. The grooms and FI will be wearing kilts. The color scheme is purple and black with silver/white, dark blue and green as accents. The main non-traditional thing about the wedding is my dress. It will be dark purple taffeta shot with black and will be completely handmade (just bought the fabric with the seamstress on Saturday!).
I can't wait to get to know everyone and share ideas and experiences!
