MOH/Bridesmaids To-Do List...

Hi Knotties,

Got a question for you.  What do you have on your MOH/Bridesmaids To-Do list?  The problem I have is that my Matron of Honor (who is my bestfriend) lives in Phoenix...so she really can't do much from there until she gets here.  My Maid of Honor (which is my little sister who is 16) is here but there is only so much she can do...plus she's always asking me what she should be doing.  Two of my bridesmaids are out of country (one in Germany and the other in Honduras)...and they won't be getting here till the week of the wedding.  My last bridesmaid is actually here in Houston with me and is actually one of my colleague's from work.  She's been helping me out tremendously.  Any advice or pointers for me??

your MOH BM only real responsibility is to buy the dress, jewelery, shoes for the wedding and show up for the rehersal and wedding itself.

Yes it is nice if they want to help, and its great to share the fun with them, but they don't need a to-do list.

If your little sister keeps asking what she should be doing, tell her she just needs to show up the day of but you would love to share details with her. Include her on trips to look at flowers, or something that SHE is interested in.  If she is a fashonista ask her about your jewelry for the day of. etc

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

I really don't intend to have MOH do anything other than show up, hold bouquet and walk down the aisle in front of flower girl. She did host the bridal shower already and all she needs to do is purchase her dress now, I have had Fiance attend bridal shows, cake and food tasting, etc with me, he's been very hands on.

    Thanks Knotties!

Then it sounds like I am on track then with them buying their dresses, and accessories they need for the day of the wedding.  Yes my sister is a fashonista, so she goes everywhere I go when I am doing wedding stuff.  Thanks for the help! :)
