Hello! My fiance and I have always wanted an outdoor sunset ceremony. We found the perfect setting, all-in-one venue where we can have our outdoor ceremomy and move right into cocktail hour. We are planning for a brief ceremoney (20 minute max) but the ceremomy will not start until 7pm, which means cocktail hour 7:30 ish to 8:30ish and dinner as close to 8:30 as possible.
What are your thoughts? Too late? Im I crazy for wanting to stick to our sunset vision?

Re: Sunset Ceremony- late start time
In fact, I'd have the same problem if I got married in the summer. I'm Jewish, and in the Jewish calendar days go from sundown to sundown. The Jewish Sabbath is from Friday night to Saturday night, so if I were to marry on a Saturday in the summer, the wedding would have to start very late.
I think your plans are fine.
