guest shuttle

I'm looking for some type of shuttle/bus for our guests on the wedding day. We would need it for about an hour before the wedding to transport guests from hotel to wedding location (about 5 miles) and then for an hour after the reception to transport people back to the hotel...any ideas? I looked into viking tours but you have to rent them for the entire night and it seems pricey...

    I am struggling to find the same thing right now! Being a Glen bride too, we just need a shuttle. I don't have much to go on right now either. Most places will not break up their times and most have minimums like 4 hours. I can send you some information when I get home today on different "mini bus", "Trolley" and "coach bus" options we have found but they are all in the $800-$15000 range.

    Also a Glen bride!
    We are using school buses!  Cheap and you can go through a local place to see if they will cut you a deal!
    We are using Fisher Busline in Somerset, MA  and getting away pretty good!

    Also, how many shuttles are you getting for your transportation.  I am having about 160 people at my wedding and I have two room block set up.  One is 3 miles outside newport and the other one is downtown.  Any suggestions on how to set up the shuttles, timing, and dealing with the Newport traffic???  Thx again!!!

    hi there, someone actually asked me this on a post last week and i've been meaning to respond. I just booked archway bus and they were very reasonably priced. they have 55 passenger luxury coach buses for $690 and i believe they dont charge extra if you need them for before and after where most places do. the 31 or 33 (cant remember exact #) bus was $590. they were awesome to deal with so far too.
