Logistics

I am having a hard time figuring out hte logistics of how the Day of should work.

Ideally we would rent a limo or trolley. pick up the guys at one place, and then drop them off at the church and get the girls.
I don't know how to get all teh guys in one place. Perhaps get ready all in one room- i don't know- or all Meet in one room at a certain time regardless of where they get ready.

I don't want to rent a hotel room for fiance and the guys to get married at $250 witha  2 night minimum.

Also, What about at the end of the night, if we are all staying different places.

What did other people do on their day of. Where did you get ready, your groom, and the wedding party- and what happened at the end of hte night if you let "the limos go" did someone drop off cars earlier in the evening to a parking lot- or something?
this seems to be a challenge and i dont know what to do.

Specifically, if you didnt live close to your ceremony or reception site.

My DOC worked with me on the timeline and the logistics since we were having two weddings in one day. I got ready with my girls at my MOH's home in Providence. The hubby and his groomsmen got ready at our home also in Providence. We all met at my parent's home in Fall River. We rented a large SUV instead of a limo because we had some items for the Cambodian ceremony and items that our DOC would pack up from the reception at the end of the night. We got ready for the second time at my parent's home. My cousin was the designated driver. He also drove my MOH, my bridesmaid and the groomsmen back to our house. We were not very sober at the end of the night so our DOC drove us to our hotel....which was down the street lol

We have 2 couples in our wedding, 1 is staying over at the hotel (walking distance) and the other couple is driving home.  My FI and the groomsman are going to take 2 separate cars down to the reception that morning, drop the groomsman's car off and then they are both going to come back to get ready.  That way at the end of the night they have a car waiting at the reception site.  As for transportation after the reception, we are w/in 5 minute walking distance to our reception, but my mom and others have already offered to drive me the quick walk if I don't feel like walking, so I'm sure other would do that for you and your husband as well!

<div>Yes but I don't know who! I believe my DOC took care of it but my husband's family made the hotel arrangements since they were also staying there. It was a good idea though because we were so exhausted. The next morning we all work up and had a late brunch.</div>

H and the guys got ready at our house in Warwick and then the limo bus picked them up there and brought them to church.  The girls and I all stayed at the Biltmore the night before the wedding and got ready in my suite that morning.  Our suite on the night of the wedding was comped, so we just paid for one night the night before the wedding so that we would have a place to get ready that morning.  All of our stuff was already there when the wedding was over.  The limo bus then came and picked the girls and I up at the Biltmore.  We didn't have to worry about the end of the night because we were right upstairs from our hotel room.  My car was already at the Biltmore from Saturday night for us to drive home in on Monday morning.

I realize this is of no help to you, but I wanted to at least share what we did! lol

Thanks! my mom is cursing me for not getting married at a "hotel"

Minus my brother, the groomsmen are all from out of town, so I guess maybe Fi will just to one of their rooms to get ready? And my brother can too?

I am having the hardest time figuring this out. Nbut I don't really want to rent a suite for two nights that we don't need either. One for one to get ready and another for him to get ready in- that's a total waste of $

If you are staying in a hotel the night of your wedding, the girls and you can get ready there, or the guys can get ready there.  That was you are only paying for an additional night, or call the hotel, they may let you check in early and that was you won't have to check in later that night.
