Easton Beach Rotunda but you have to bring in your own caterer and I think the ABC is a great deal too since they include everything and no site fee. Otherwise, I'd check off season dates and Friday or Sunday night weddings to find reasonable rates. I'd look at nearby towns like the Meeting House in Tiverton and Linden Place in Bristol are also absolutely charming places to get married. Very historical feel. Another new venue that wasn't on my radar is the ultra modern venu hall at Roger William University in Bristol

    I would say ABC

I am not sure if how the prices are at the Newport inn and suites but i know they have a ballroom now-- i think someone was checking them out abotu a month ago on these boards.

Also, you can check out Fort Adams, or some places in Jamestown/Bristol to save

Otherwise I would try off season, as Royal Orient Suggested.

The other more economical place is Regatta place- it has about a 14,000 food and bev. minimum

I just got married at Fort Adams on the North Lawn and it was great. You do have to bring in your own caterer but mine was very reasonable $103 per person.  The ABC and Rotunda have great views as well and I have heard great things about both venues.  Good Luck!

I am using the ABC, the per plate fee is $100 to $150 depending on package, I booked same year and got a pretty reasonable deal.  The $100 pp includes 2 hours open bar cocktail hour, 3 appetizers, cheese/cracker/veggie spread, champage toast, rolls, salad, choice of filet mignon or baked scrod, coffee service and chocolate covered strawberries.

Getting married during the "off" season can significantly save some SERIOUS cash.  I initially had wanted a spring/summer wedding but when we started looking at venues, I realized I could save $15,000 just by switching to an off month.  Needless to say, I am having a winter wedding this Dec at OceanCliff.  Total, to include venue, caterer, ceremony, photos, baker, invites and STD, ceremony music, DJ is around $20,000 (based on 100ppl and Friday night).  If I would have had the same wedding in June....could have easily spent $40k.  The food and beverage minimum at OC in the summer is $15,000 for food/beverage minimum for Friday; $20,000 F&B for Saturday night.  It's all about the sacrafices you are willing to make in order keep it realistic.
