Hey all,
I'm from the Charleston board/PA (where my wedding is), but I'm going on vacation to Myrtle Beach next week and I'm looking for fun and inexpensive stuff to do!
I've never been, but FI has and its his bday, so I want to surprise him with a day out or a night out away from his family.
This is a total post and run bc I have to go to work, but I'll def be back later.
TIA, Katie

Market Common has awesome restaurants. It's a shopping center they recently built in the old Air Force base, there are lakes and walking trails as well, and a lot of times the Chamber does events there in the summer. They also just finished redeveloping the Boardwalk right on the ocean in downtown Myrtle Beach. I haven't been there yet, but I heard they did a really good job on it. Just keep in mind everything will be a little bit crazy on July 4th weekend. If you're looking for a really nice dinner, there is a Ruth's Chris right on the waterway by the Grande Dunes Marina Inn (just north of 82nd Pkwy on Hwy 17 Bypass). For something cheaper, but still on the water, there is the Anchor Cafe which is behind the Ruth's Chris, right at the marina and set out on the waterway. Very reasonable prices and it's a very nice place to go.
For something silly and fun, go to Family Kingdom park right on the beach. Its a small amusement park but my FI and I went and had A BLAST!
Enjoy your trip
