gifts for readers.... and jewlery???

So this post is a 2 part post:1.  Did people get gifts for those doing readings or bringing up the gifts at the ceremony???  And if so what???2.  Does anyone know anywhere to get unique bridal jewlery in Rochester???  I have searched the malls and can't find anything.  I am looking for something more in the crystal/diamond family rather than pearls.TIA!!!

    1. Readers gifts Gift Bearers no gifts We got williow tree fugurines for each of the readers.  Small but meaningful. 2. Can't really help you with Rochester places, but I know a lot of girls found beautiful costume jewelry on Etsy. GL!

Can't help you with #1, but try some of the small shops in Pittsford for jewlery.  For example, L' Avant Garbe www.lavantgarbe.com, etc.  Also, if you are willing to make the trip, Spybaby Boutique www.spybaby.com and Boom Babies www.boombabies.biz are located in Syracuse.  I am from Rochester and used to be a pageant girl and always made the trip there for my gowns and jewelery. Hope this helps!

Hi! I did a reading in a friends wedding and she was gracious enough to give me the same thing she got her maids--a cute wristlet that matched everyones.  I would like to go along the same lines for my readers (as for males, I'm not sure, maybe something simple like a money clip?  I guess I'm not much help but it was nice what she gave me!

This may not help you - but we got each of our readers/gift bearers a personalized gift according to their tastes.  We got our gift bearers (aunt and uncle) a gc to their favorite restaurant, we got one reader an engraved bookmark (lvoes to read), another gardening tools (loves to garden) and the third framed photos.

    1. We will be getting our readers something small according to their tastes. Probably a gift card to a coffee shop and a Barnes and Noble gift card. 2. Jewelry: There is a place called Joelle's on Monroe Avenue in Brighton that has a TON of jewelry. It's all pretty inexpensive and they had a ton of rhinestone stuff. I've only been in there once and I'm not sure if it's what your looking for, but it might be worth a try if your desperate.

We are getting our readers gift cards.  Jewelry is a good idea, but we have a woman reader not really into jewelry, and a male reader. As for jewelry, check out Adorn Jewelry in Canandaigua.  Totally worth the short drive.  Also have a website: adornjewelryandaccessories dot com HTH!!

I got my readers gifts. Gift cards a nice way to go. Bridal Jewelry... There is a store in Pittsford on Monroe called "A Different Point of View"... they have neat jewelry, also, 12 corners (winton/Monroe/Elmwood) has "The Eleventh Hour." There is also "Parkleigh" on Park Ave and Goodman. I found bridesmaid necklaces at my jewelers "J.Williams Jewelers" in Spencerport. They have some good stuff there and you can order what you need, too. Mine came in in about a week.
