Any Saratoga brides have a suggestion for a great cake place that's not too expensive?

    I'll be watching this post myself because we are going to be on the prowl soon.

    We are having a sampling from J.S. Watkins bakery in Clifton Park on Thursday.  I will make sure to deliver my picky sweets-addict opinion on that afterwards.

    We also plan on looking into Bettie's Cakes (518.894.1179 - Melissa Vohnoutka, head baker) which is in Saratoga.   And Coccadots in Albany,

    I'm interested to see others' recommendations!!

    We used Cindy Murphy in South Glens Falls and she did a great job.  She has been doing cakes for about 30 years so she has a lot of experience.  She was very reasonable and her cakes were really good.  I told her what I wanted and she did exactly what I asked for.  I highly recommend her.

    I just had my cake tasting at Coccadotts....in the middle of the film crews. They will be on Cupcake Wars on FoodNetwork next Tuesday (8/9).
