Annoying Friends

So my friend has asked 2 times already on my facebook wall where her invitation is! She's not getting invited and how rude of her to even ask? What do I tell her? Most of my friends are getting invited except her.

"sorry, we're having a small wedding - and unfortunately I wasn't able to invite everyone that I know and love. Don't worry though - I'll come back with loads of pictures" and yes, she's rude.

Yes, that's very rude... But I wonder, is she really the only friend you decided not to invite from your group of friends? It feels pretty crummy to be singled out of a group and not be included. If she really is the ONLY one, I would consider sending her an invitation. I think it's different if she's not only one not invited though. In that case, I would agree with shanwalk. Just use your best judgement, and I'm sure you'll be fine. GL!

We were good friends in hs and then went totally different ways in after graduation. In fact, she didnt' like me for a long time and didn't invite me to her wedding. I just don't consider her a close friend of mine anymore. Ive seen her 3 times since graduation and that was bc other friends had invited her around...I just think its crazy she would even have the nerve to ask 2 times for an invite...

ditto shanwalk.  We had to do this recently with friend of FI and she completely understood and was very gracious about it.

Then really I wonder why you would call her a "friend" at all. Sounds like you guys aren't really friends. In that case, definitely ditto shanwalk.
