Tux/Suit Rental- Any places better than others?

We are going to find a place to rent all of the groomsmen's tuxes this weekend and wondered if any of you ladies had any advice on the best place to go.  All of the groomsmen are in Austin and Dallas, so a store that has locations in both cities would be ideal.  Are there any places that are known to have better prices, selection, quality, or service?  Any places to avoid?  Should I make an appointment for FI to try different styles on?  Any other general tips?  Thanks!

oh, and we just showed up. they don't try them on - they search through a book. (they actually have jackets though, I think). Then they plugged all the info in the computers and when the groomsmen (finally) came they knew what to order. They came in on time and made all alterations for free. The only thing that wasn't cool is that we had to return all of them the next day (sunday). Because most of our groomsmen were not familiar with austin - DH and I had to return them ourselves before we left for our honeymoon.

We're using Men's Wearhouse as well, they are country-wide since his groomsmen are all over.  Since I'd never seen fiance in a tux and most of them don't have things they can try on, we went to the MW Tux on Brodie.  He was able to try on a tux and the vest/tie combo we were interested in.  It's very hard for me to choose stuff from books, and I needed to make sure he didn't look ridiculous in a tux :)  We had a really great experience at MW Tux on Brodie.  They were really helpful and patient, and they didn't make me feel stupid because I wanted to see fiance in a tux like the MW in Southpark Meadows.  The customer experience in that location was just awful.

We are using Al's formal wear and have been really pleased with their customer service so far. They also negotiated a little bit on the rate which was awesome. We tried to also price out Mens Wearhouse but surprisingly enough they don't carry burnt orange vests, even in austin!

Although we had a good experience with Al's Formal wear locally, my brother didn't have one at their stores in the Houston area.  In fact, his cummerbund broke as he was putting it on before the wedding.

I forgot to add that you can usually scout out bargains at the various bridal shows if you sign up then.  (That worked for us with both tuxes and wedding cakes.)  I think there is one in Austin this weekend, Sept. 13th.

All of our groomsmen were in Austin and Dallas also, and in between, so Men's Warehouse was a great option. We've had a really good experience with them so far.

We also went with MW since we have guys all over the country. Just like spacey281, we had a terrible experience at the Southpark Meadows location so I would definitely not recommend you go there if you use MW. We've had a great experience with the Brodie location and none of the guys have had any problems went they went to their respective locations. They just pulled up our info in the system. Very easy.

Thanks Ladies!  We ended up at Al's Formalwear.  The customer service was great, and they even gave us the special they were running for the Bridal Extravaganza (and saved me from enduring the madness of the BE).  I was worried that the vest we chose had a pattern that would be too "busy" for an entire vest (we only saw a tiny swatch), so they've ordered a vest for the store near our house and will let us take a look at it before we decide on the vest/tie combo.  I highly recommend them!
