Ah. We are HUGE Texas Country fans. We are using Bryne Rock, but I'm not too sure how familiar he is with that genre. I didn't really find anyone during my search who was too familiar with it.Just curious.

We used Byrne and were beyond thrilled with him. We aren't big Texas Country fans, but he did play exactly the type of music we asked him too. I'm sure if you give him a list of your favorite artists, he'll play a lot of their music plus similar artists. He's also very good about sticking to your do not play list.

I gave Byrne absolutely no direction with our reception. I'm pretty music stupd (I like it I just don't know who does what or when or what band names are). I literally told him the three CD's that were in my CD player and said play whatever you want except main stream country (I love texas country and classic country though) and no rap! I can't remember a single song that was played that we didn't love. seriously!! He was awesome! Plus he was able to rent a wireless mic for the officiate, set all that up and be at the ceremony to make sure all of it worked correctly even though we had strings playing there and he only did the reception.

Yah!! Thank you girsl for sharing. This does really make me feel better. Not that I was doubting Bryne, just worried about the music selection I guess.:)
