Church for a Sunday wedding

I am desperately searching for a church to have our wedding ceremony in central Houston area (downtown, galleria, rice village, river oaks, etc...). I have called a lot of churches , but they don't allow sunday weddings. Does anyone have any suggestions on churches? Please help!

We are members at a united Methodist church but it is pretty far from our reception venue. We are open to having our ceremony at any church that will allow us to have a sunday wedding and potentially have our pastor co-officiate the wedding.

My brother & SIL were married in a Methodist church on a Sunday, so I'm surprised you are having probalem finding a church.  Do they want you to become members first?  Have you also looked into Universalist Churches?

What about historical churches, or some larger churches have a smaller chapel adjacent that they do weddings only in. College campuses usually have pretty chapels as well.
