So my plans have changed a bit.... FI has been a total whiner about missing me (love that man) and is totally mopey, so I'm driving up a bit early to surprise him! As in, I'm getting in the car at 7:30am tomorrow and will be there right when he gets off work tomorrow afternoon!!! I plan to call him about 30 minutes before he gets off work so he can get the approvals necessary for me to stay on base (not complicated, just procedural. Last time we did it after I got there).
I plan to stay until a week from Sunday. Yep, nearly 2 weeks with him!!! I'm spoiling myself, but really there's no reason to rush home right now. All my job hunting can be done from afar, and if I happen to get an interview I can come back since I'm driving up rather than flying.
Soooo.... whatcha wanna do? GGirl, shoot me a PM with your cell number so we can figure out some plans!!! And Sam, let me know if you're able to come down at all. Maybe mid-week? I don't know your work schedule! I could also meet you part way on a weekday. Let me know!
