What are your plans this weekend?

Tonight, h won't be here, so I plan on catching up on trashy TV. Then tomorrow, we are headed to the mall for a drink or two and then we will split up to finish Christmas shopping! It's a fun tradition my parents started that we will continue. Tipsy Christmas shopping. :-)

Morning Hike!

I just woke up and I still feel drugged, I took Nyquil last night since I wasn't feeling well. H and I don't have any weekend plans yet. We were supposed to have a full weekend again but they've switched to 3 day duty section, so now he's got duty tomorrow and I'll be seeing him less from now on, which sucks! Tonight, we are supposed to see the new Mission Impossible movie and finish up our Christmas shopping at the mall. We leave for Jersey on Wednesday and he'll be busy with work, so we just need to get things done. I'm not even sure when he'll have time to wrap up my presents! lol

Hi ladies! I plan on doing the bare minimum at work today and getting the heck out of here!! Baking cookies tonight for a swap this weekend, then BIL and FSIL are cokming down to visit--yay! We'll probably go to our favorite bar and just chill.

Hike, I'm liking the idea of tipsy Christmas shopping!! I still need to knock out H's gifts, ugh.

I am in a very blah, emotional and just tired mood.  I have not gotten a good night's sleep in a week and the tears came this morning.  So I am having a pity party for one.  Good news is that a couple of girl friends are coming in tonight so that will hopefully help me out some.

FI is driving back home as I type. He left at 4am and hopes to make it to Arkansas by tonight. We got into an arguement this morning because it wasn't even 7am and he had already gotten a speeding ticket. I wasn't amused.

But tomorrow we are going to meet with the cake person (yay cake!), meet with the caterer (yay food!), and meet with the DJ/Light guy (yay party!) I don't think we need anything else....well drinks. Ha!

Then I graduate on Sunday! WOOO!!!!

Hi ladies!

I dropped FI off at the airport at 5am this morning, then went back to sleep.  At work now, leaving at 5pm, cannot WAIT!  Flying home to see my parents, and we found two friends who are willing to watch Sasha, which is a big relief.  So I have her doggy overnight bag all packed.  Amazing what a tiny thing can accumulate that she "needs" in only a month with us!  Food bowl, food, leash, collar, toys, a bed... it's a LOT!

I'm really excited to see my parents!  We finished up our "Christmas presents" last night.  We couldn't afford anything this year, so we just made everyone cookies.

For anyone looking for cookie recipes, this may well be the best cookie I've ever had - certainly the best ginger cookie EVER!

Hey everyone!!

I'm dragging butt this morning - the only thing that's making my morning amusing is hearing Jade (puppy dog) in the bedroom barking and moaning and grunting at FI, who didn't get home until 3:30 last night. I don't really care - but its pretty humerous.
I have a TON to do today. I have to decorate these ice cream cone cupcakes for a riding benefit going on here tomorrow. I'm baking cookies for FI's family and me (because I WILL eat like 10 of them on the trip) and I'm sending out Irish's cookies today too!!
We leave for KY tonight, probably around 7 or 8 and will be there until the 21st and then its to VA to see my family. I'm hoping for some relaxation this weekend with all the crazyness going on, but we'll see. I'm trying really, really, really hard not to stress about things anymore and just let them happen.

OH and I have some wedding checks with PIPs to post later Cali - I must say you are AMAZING for recommending that font site and printing them, I could of kissed you when I saw them come out on the envelopes!

My mom and I always go Christmas shopping, we don't have to buy anything - tho normally we get chrismtas candy - but we always go shopping on Christmas Eve. It was something she did with her dad, so we've continued the tradition. But our new tradition is having memosa's (sp) on Christmas Day. :) And I mean alllll day! :)

Yay!  I won't get to do mine until June, but I'm excited they went well for you!!!  I did a mail merge the other day to see how they all looked, and I was very pleased with the result!!!

Which font did you use?  I'm such a font whore now!

Hello ladies!!

So glad it's friday today. FI is coming up for the weekend (yay!). He was thinking they'd get out a bit early today, but he got assigned to be late man in the shop, so it'll be late this evening (probably close to midnight or later if I had to guess) before he'll get in. So, we had some stuff to do at work this morning; I just ate lunch. I am hoping the rest of the day is uneventful- I am going to study for a few hours and then go workout. I have been a good girl this week; I have worked out every day and my food's been pretty close to perfect I have been saying no (for the most part) to cookies and such, even though everyone wants to force feed them to you at Christmas. FI and I made a pact to eat clean at the beginning of the week because we're drinking a fair amount of wine when he gets in... that was our compromise for a cheat/indulgence for the week.

When I get home I will be making more flashcards. We don't have any real set plans for the weekend- we tried but they all fell through. I'm hoping to get to Target to do our registry there. Otherwise, we both have studying to do; but it's so much nicer to do it together. It's amazing how much better I feel just having him in the same room.

And a good Friday to all! We went to see FI's little cousin's Christmas/Holiday program last night, she played a cat, it was adorable. We got home to some A1 premium crazy from his Mom. She's now saying that she has to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (she's a staff writer for a weekly alternative newspaper) and will not have time for so much as a coffee at any point. Oh, and I'm tearing their family apart, per usual. FI's pissed, and really upset, because he feels like she's just gone 'round the bend. But we're just going to plan our Christmas, be happy, and let the chips fall where they may.

This weekend, FI's working the children's Christmas party on base Saturday morning and then we're going to have dinner with some friends. Sunday we start packing for the move, yaaaaay. I'm watching my mail like a hawk, most of FI's stuff hasn't gotten here yet, and I'm a little worried.
