    Yum!

Any special reason for making it this weekend? Or just a treat?

Sunday dinner is H's crew dinner I've been prepping for the past couple weeks. If these turn out well, I can just pop them in the freezer until Sunday :)

Goodness I keep forgetting to dvr Too Fat for Fifteen! />_< I'm totally missing this season and the past two were so good! I love seeing kids that got screwed over by their parents (yeah.. a little harsh of an opinion...)  take control of themselves and build up their will power, even if they don't want to as first.

What else are you making for the dinner?

I'm pretty obsessed for Too Fat. I was super overweight in high school and then got an eating disorder. Now I have body dismorphia so the whole thing is so intriguing to me.

It's online.  So I can attend from the comfort of my own bed.

We have tornado watches going on right now.  In November.  Which is extremely odd.  It should be snowing, not this crap.  So we'll see if the electricity lasts for me to attend!

I'm finishing everything for my unit plan on how animals get ready for winter. I agree with you spiffy, the weather is wierd. It was 55 degree here, and in WI for winter that's warm. I was able to go out without a coat!

Other than that FI helped me fix my computer and is going to fix my car for me tomorrow.

Hi ladies! Hike wow, 8 apps?! I wish I had that motivation. I applied to one job a few days ago. I just got back home from babysitting. It was my first time w/ this family. The 18-month-old is super cute and sweet and smart. It was awesome until the end, when he threw a tantrum for 25+ minutes. I ignored it but it was still rough.

I just got home from a staff meeting..  I had to medicate my dad (He has the flu), then my mom (she had hip replacement back in January, and did really well for a while, but now she can hardly walk..) and I'm self medicating with a beer.  I went to B&BW today and got some new bulbs for my wallflowers and so I'm enjoying the scent of "Frosted Cranberry".

Hike, I'm totally impressed, I loathe filling out job applications.  Seriously. Loathe it.

well I think H is getting baby fever. He was dead set on waiting til he made Capt. now he keeps saying little things here and there about babies. He joked he wanted to get me KU before this deployment so he could miss the cravings and mood swings.

    He literally just asked me...
"how long does it take until your boobs get bigger when preggers?"

guess we know why he is so interested in getting me KU. BTW I am already a full C .. D is some bras. I don't think they need to be getting any bigger. This is literally weeks into his deployment. Dear Lord let me get through this hahahahaha

    Hey ladies!!

H and I are watching Pawn Stars right now, we love this show! He thought it was stupid before actually watching it and the first time he did, he was hooked! So now every Monday night, we're in front of the TV watching it. We watch HIMYM almost everyday too.

My day was good, stayed home and did chores. Cleaned around the house today. Also sorted through and alphabetized all our books for the shelf we bought over the weekend, I counted all of them and it came out to 138 books! I didn't realize we had that much! H came home 2 hours later toda, apparently that's how it's going to be from now on since that's his deparment's work hours, even though the rest of the ship comes home 2 hours earlier.  I made baked chicken parmesan for dinner with roasted potatoes, corn & peas. It was very good, H loved it!

Hike: Wow, great job on thos job apps! That's awesome and good luck on them! ;)

hmmm good question. I find myself thinking about them more lately. Having all this 'free time' and people keep telling me 'oh and you don't even have kids to keep you busy during the deployment." I love babies and kids but I'm not dying to have them/one right.this.minute. and I still like our freedom to do whatever (even though we don't do much haha). IMO H is not ready to be a Daddy yet. So we are fine with waiting.

Hike -8 apps? IHoly cow! I only did one... and I think it was a scam because I never got the email saying "Thank you for applying"...crap. Good thing I didn't have to put my SS# yikes! I'm going to have to change my address on my Resume to get some bites. It isn't going to help me with relocation costs...but at the point I have to change something on my apps. Because I am more than qualified and not getting anything. Heck, I guy I know that has less intern experience and worse grades has gotten 4 offers. WHAATT? He does have the help of career services...but eh. I digress.

I can't call FI until 9 because I ran out of minutes. Boo.

<div>I feel the exact same way about children right now. I love kids, especially babies and every time I see my niece she makes me want one, but I also know that it's not the right tiem to have them yet. And I really only want them when I'm around kids or cute baby clothes at the mall, that always gets me. I always tell H, I want a baby for a few hours of the day to play with, but that's it. lol We're waiting a while to have any. </div>

100% agree. Everyone sees me squee over babies and are so confused when I say we don't want kids for awhile. "But you loooove babies! You're a natural." Um yeah, but I don't want to keep one. Eeek!

I had the fever sooo bad this time last year, but I think it was because I knew H would be gone for another year and I wanted a little baby H (That sounds really odd..), but It went away with a quickness... Now I'm like Eh.. 5-10 years.. heck my mom had me at 40, surely I can wait until I'm at least 30.. or 28Wink H wants to have a baby, but he's not really fond of babies.. Does that make any sense? No.

Kara- I love pawn stars!  Chum is hilarious.  It's also really educational!  I've learned a lot of stuff from both FI who tells me his ridiculous amounts of random knowledge while we are watching, and from Rick.

Does anyone watch Homeland on Showtime?  FI and I are addicted.  He talks about it at work with his coworkers, and no one at my work watches it.  I need someone to talk to about it! haha.

FI and I are "no babies" right now and I'm not sure it'll ever change.  We're both at the stages in our life where we are extremely selfish with our time and money.  As in...we like our toys.  I'll be ok if it goes either way later on in life.  If we never have kids I really think I'll be ok.  If we do.  Oh well.  I will adjust.  I don't think it's something we will ever "plan" for though.  Is that irresponsible?

Spiffy! I saw the first episode of Homeland and I LOVED it!! But I don't have showtime so I have to wait until it comes out on DVD to watch the rest of it.  I've looked online, but all the streaming ones kind of blow.  Even H was intrigued when I told him about it and he doesn't really watch tv alot..

On a somewhat related note: Has anyone seen PanAm.. I'm in love with it.  I generally don't actually stay up to watch shows, I just add them to my favorites on Hulu and watch them the next day.  Pan Am was amazing!! I haven't heard yet if they got picked up for a full season, so I must google! I really hope it gets lots and lots of seasons.  Especially since they're taking Desperate Housewives away from me.  7 years those women have been in my life and now ABC thinks they can just take them away from me?!! I'll be heartbroken if/when they cancel Grey's...  I really get into my shows..

Oh! and.. if I may AW myself... I lost 5lbs last week.  I stepped up my running and drank a lot of water, but I was pretty excited with the result!!

Sami- I haven't watched PanAm but I've heard good things about it. I wish there were more hours in the day to watch the tv shows I want to. Also, when/if you ever watch Homeland don't let a few "slow" episodes let you down. Because it gets pretty crazy! The last two episodes I was completely blown away by. To the point where it is really difficult for me to wait an entire week to see what happens next. haha. And congrats on the 5lbs! :)

Sami: Congrats on the weight loss! I need to really get back into running again, I was so sore from our run yesterday. I'm planning on going tomorrow and for the rest of the week, hopefully I can keep up with  it. I really miss Zumba too, I need to find a place here that does it!

Also, have you checked out this site: http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/
It has every tv show you can think of, even the old ones with multiple streamings. I watch all my shows on there, and I know they have Homeland too, I need to start watching that!

SamiJ  _ I love PanAm, I'm a few weeks behind so I don't know what is going on. But i love that era, I so wish I lived then....the fashion, the makeup, the hair. I have been watching Gray's on Netflix and I am like still 2 seasons behind. Part of me is like.."hurry up and catch up..I need to know!!! But then I'm like.. ehh they are just going to cancel it when I catch up.
