Sofia - the line is ridiculous.  Best way to skip the line is to pre-order cupcakes online so you can just skip the line!  Otherwise, show up right before the store opens so you only wait 5-10 minutes, rather than the 1.5 hour line!!!

Calindi - whenever I think of the lines there, I think back to this hilarious sign from the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear! It was posted in the DCist!

Do you still have to order a dozen online? In the past, in order to bypass the line, you had to pre-order 12 cupcakes. Seriously I have no issues with that at all!!! Those cupcakes are so freaking good!!

Sofia - yep, you have to order a dozen.  And I'm totally cool with buying a dozen!  I did foist a few off on friends since FI won't eat any due to his crazy diet.  I did buy pickles at Eastern Market from the "In a Pickle" guy... wasabi, super sour, and hot & spicy pickles!  Yummmm!  I sound like a pregnant lady, but I swear I'm not!

And Stan, I didn't watch the game, but you could def be right.  I'll take your word for it and be glad I didn't see it!
