I wrote on here a little while ago about FI trying to get new dress blues because the guys all kepy them in household goods or something when they deployed to Iraq. When he camae back, low and behold, his were wet, moldy and ruined. They gave him a good chunk of the money back to buy new ones however NO ONE can seem to order them.
Apparently FI has gorilla arms! The jacket that fits his chest and what not, is too short on his arms. The alterations people said they couldn't let it out enough on he sleeves to make it long enough. The jacket the next size up is way too big around his chest, however the arms are a perfect fit. The alteration people said they couldn't get rid of that much there. Soo, they had FI special order his correct measurments. Every time he makes this special order, they tell him to come back in 2 weeks, when they expect it to be in. It is NEVER there. This has been going on for 9 months now. They can't even give him a reason why, just to reorder again and again and again.
I have no idea what to do! He wants to wear his uniform, I want him to wear his uniform. I told him to talk to someone higher up but he told me that is inappropriate for this circumstance. He says because it is his wedding and therefore not military related that it is not their concern. Is this true?
I plan on calling myself when they open today to see if FI head is just up in the clouds or something (surely could be the case!) Uhhh..just stressed! The wedding in only 2 months away!
