Kara- For wedding planning I'm stuck trying to find a cake. I know what I want- it's just finding someone who can make it. Since I'm Italian, I want Italian Wedding cake, but that is not popular here, so I might do something else.

Cal- I'm so glad your puppy has been good!  That makes the whole thing so much more enjoyable   It never ends too.  After five years of FI's dog absolutely hating me, I stil love that dog for some reason. He's just so cute sometimes!

Kara- I don't have a pic (my mom does) but it tastes yummy! It is very.... I don't know how to describe it, so here is a recipe (clicky) I love it, but since WI is mostly german nad polish, people haven't heard of it before.

Dani - Italian Wedding cake? YUM! I have only had it a couple of times but it is so yummy.  I'm not a huge wedding cake fan so I have been dragging my feet trying to find a baker... I really feel like I need to put that at the top of my list...

My work decorated the corporate office for Christmas today, and not just the entry way, like everywhere professionally decorated. It is very beautiful (a little over the top, but eh! It makes people happier), but there were about 5 Santas and snow on top of a filing cabinet near my desk. haha... it is awesome. What if you are Jewish? Or someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas..It is a private corporation and the owners are very much Christian.. so I guess they just don't care.

I'm just popping in to say Helllllloooooo before I go to bed.  I told H that I'm not any fun anymore and that if I'm not in bed my 9:30 at the latest I and hateful! He replied with "Baby, You were never any fun! I didn't get married to have fun, I got married to be boring with someone!"  I'm choosing to take that as a compliment, but he's actually pretty much on target.  I was the kid in HS that was like "I think I'd rather stay in tonight and finish my book" while all my friends were out gettin high and drunk. 

Kara-I'm glad you're starting to wind down so you can come back to us in Knotland!! I was missing you!!

Shan-I want to see Pictures of this Ugly Christmas Sweater!!! I was cleaning out a closet with my mom and found a really ugly christmas sweater and told her we should have an UCS party!! and she was like oh yes!! we can get sweaters!! she totally didn't get that I was calling her sweater ugly, but whatever.

Zim (Sorry)-I'm with you on wanting JR to win, at least he's done something with his life unlike Rob Kardashian who's famous because his sisters are complete Media Hoars & his dad defended OJ.  If he'd actually done anything to be even warrant any of his "celebrity" I could maybe see it.  I'm totes team JR.

Katelyn- I was creeping on your blog and I feel like you are planning my wedding. Just go ahead and do everything twice...once for me... once for you.. haha jk. No seriously, similar STD postcards, guestbook, and going through hoops with the Catholic church. Okay maybe not a lot of similarities, but a couple! It did make me laugh because I had my STDs sitting in a ziploc bag on my coffee table too

Hey ladies. I'm up and finally got a good night sleep.
Here is the sweater as is. I haven't added the lights yet.



The green on the top right is a 3D tree. Bells on the wrists, dangling bows/ribbons on the shoulders. It does have shoulder pads. The back is just black with nothing on it. I think I may use fabric paints to write some christmas sayings.. and put bows on the collar. I don't want anything sticking out any lower because I will have to sit for dinner. H thinks I should leave the back blank because he thinks it's hideous enough LOL.

and yes there is a prize for the ugliest. I don't know the prize though because they are keeping that a secret.

Shan: I really hope you win, because that thing is FUGLY! lol I think the lights will definitely make it "better" and you'll have it in the bag!  I wonder what the prize is, you must share!

Thanks ladies. I bought a couple of the light up necklaces from Party City. I am going to cut some holes in the sweater to push the light through then tape the cord under the sweater. They blink, run, or stay steady so I may switch it up LOL. I also have antler head band that I think I am going to drape the lights on as well.

I'm fully away that this is going to be obnoxious, but that's my style I guess. I'm that girl that is taking the theme to the xtreme.

Hey Ladies!!

Ahh I have missed all of you so much! 

I returned from Michigan on Monday. We had a lovely visit with FI's father and his wife. His sister and brother were also there, and I got to meet his half-sister, so it was nice! We flew into Chicago and we did some sightseeing there (Sears tower (now Willis Tower), ate at Harry Carays (thanks to a suggestion by AMH!) and we had Chicago pizza for dinner, so that was cool. The rest of the weekend we did family stuff. 

I am back at work today, tomorrow and Friday (boo!) but FI and his sister are driving up from FL this afternoon, and the rest of my family is coming in over the next few days. We're doing Thanksgiving as a family on Saturday. We did a thanksgiving meal with the guys who are working today (C Shift). One of the churches brings us food here to work on Thanksgiving day because they cook for their shut ins and they include us (sweet). FI and his sister will come visit me at work tomorrow so that'll be nice. Hopefully we can work on some of the wedding to-do list. 

In other news: FI missed making E6 by less than a point. His chief noticed this and decided to go through his record to make sure nothing was missing. Well, something was missing that makes up a point- so he made it! He spent hours searching for this award he got back in 2007 (He's moved 5 times since then and wasn't sure where to look) and he found it around 3 this morning, so yay... he's a first class! This news basically made my week. 

I'm just studying nursing, like I will be doing for the next what feels like forever. ughhhhhhhhhh.

Well today is my last day of work this week. Can't wait to nom on all our yummy food tomorrow. I will most likely make Deviled Eggs for FI's family and mine.
Today I started or absolute final guest list count (my side is done...I think). I also updated my appt to go look at vintage furniture to use at our reception.

Planning to watch a movie tonight with my FI. Although since the movie I want to see is an Indie one and only in select theaters, we are going to see his choice: Immortals.

Hoping to also get started on planning our honeymoon to Ireland tonight as well!

At least FI and I agreed we wanted to go out of the country. I wanted to go to Paris and he def did not. So he suggested Ireland and since I haven't been yet I was happy with that too. :)
