So this might be my super Southern upbringing, but I was raised sending out cards. TY's for every gift ever received in my life have been written. Every year, we take a family picture, and we would put together a letter (For family and friends we're close to but don't get to see often) to put inside our Christmas card. I was always freakishly excited about sending out Christmas Card my first year as a married couple. Obviously we didn't send them out last year, because we were on our HM and whatnot, but I was all excited to send them out this year. Except that we're not together.. So I'm like.. Should I even send them out? Who will I send them too? I did come up with what I think is a cute idea.. I'm going to use a picture of him from the ball, or something, and then a picture of me and kittyface and edit it together and put "We hope your family is all together this Holiday Season.. Cause we sure aren't

Love, Mr. and Mrs. SamiJoB" I got Christmas Story cards because it's H's favorite movie ever. What do you ladies think? I can't find any etiquette regarding Christmas Cards and what to do about Military H's being stationed overseas... (Darn you Emily Post!! Get with the Times Girl!)
Re: Christmas Cards
In hindsight I wish we would have put Sending Our Love from near and far, but whatevs.
BTW: These are from www.simplytoimpress.com I bought a living social deal for $15 for $40 worth I believe. (I got 35 of the pictured cards) I also got the Picaboo one $20 for $75 worth including shipping was able to buy 70 cards.
I can't share the Picaboo ones... but it has a couple more pictures and says "Wishing you health, happiness and joys of family this holiday season... Sending our love .... "
[QUOTE]Shan: That card is super cute! I'm kind of making mock cards on VP right now, I think I might just use one of our E-pics, lol

Thanks! I didn't think H would be on board with the penguins but he loved it. I thought it was fun for our Minnesota friends and family :)
Kara & DMB- I'm pretty sure that Walmart also does them pretty cheap as well. Also check out Snapfish, and Shutterfly. I know lots of parents who just upload baby pics to one of those sights, and then email the link to family and friends, so they can look at them, but they don't have to buy them, but I know you can make cutesy cards with those as well.. And VP.. C gave me a great VP link (Clicky).
ETA: Here's a link for Walmarts photocards.. for .28. Clicky
[QUOTE]Thanks for that info Sami! I didn't even think of Walmart and those are a lot cheaper! I'll have to check it out. I love VP, I get those promos from that clicky on my email still. Here's a mock up of what H and I liked on VP. Tell me what you ladies think.
