Depending on the type of workout you're doing.  I do 5 x's a week, but 2 of those I'm working out at work teaching my classes, and doing advanced workouts with some of our members. The other 3 days I try to just get a 2-4 mile run in.. Set a goal, and work towards your goal.  Keep a food diary, I would focus more on the quality of workout rather than to quantity.. make sense?

And as for the bolded part, THIS is part of what's been irritating me this past few days. I mean, I love new people, don't get me wrong. BUTTTTT...

A- I think if you're gonna intro, you should probably participate, too. The only person I've see who intro'ed recently and is actually participating is Melbelle (which I totally think is cool, btw). Everyone else is gone!? WTH?! I could be totally wrong, however, since I kind of gave myself some space this weekend with TK after all the intros.

B- Intro's are fine, in moderation. But just because one person did it, doesn't mean it's open season for intros! Is this the enrollment period or something that I may be missing? No, just posttttttt.

IDK  if any of you remember this, but the way I started posting on here was to ask if anyone had the whole Army Dentist similarity with me. THAT was my way of introducing myself.

Oh annndddd another thing. I confess that I think it's really freakin annoying with someone GBCK's and then comes back as if it was nothing. Sorry, but we're confessing.

Hike-My degree is in mental health/school counseling. I know there is an online program that is CACREP certified (accrediting board for counseling), just do some research  

Confession-hmm I don't know if I have anything juicy today. I'm sitting here, watching hockey, H is in the shower. 

On the good news note my parents are on their way here and will be here Thursday! 

I feel like I should have a confession.

Agreed.  I do hold a grudge with that kind of stuff for some reason.

Also, I haven't been here long but I don't think I ever really introduced myself?  I think I just started posting.

Irish-I LOVE pinterest.  I made homemade mozarella sticks this weekend.  FI loved them.  Which makes me want to look on Pinterest for even more recipes.  It's a vicious cycle.

I confess that I know very little about politics and I feel stupid because of it.  I've always kind of kept my difference because I was never educated enough about it.  I really want to get more involved and understand more of the problems in our country but I hate confrontation.  FI is watching the GOP debate and all the arguing is making me extremely uncomfortable just watching.  I'm kind of ashamed of myself for knowing absolutely nothing.

ps I also am all about new peeps, but i went away to see FI and finish up midterms and it was like the board exploded in like 24 hours. I was like man I can't catch up on all this!! and they were all long . . . . .

confession hijack - I wanted to ring the ppl in the car in front of me's neck today when they had to ask the post gate check in lady for directions for 5 minutes - literally- I was late by no fault of my own and the other guard totally almost did one of those " get out the car"s because i was tapping my fingers and generally looking like i'd blow something up i guess. 4 other cars got passes before me from the other guard. trucks!! who all had to open like every compartment on the whole thing (the construction ones with all the boxes).

I also get the mom bugging thing CAB i think it was you or hike that mentioned the dont touch my stomach thing the other day. My mom keeps doing something similar and commenting on what i'm eating - not to mention I practically never eat candy or junk food, work out 6 days a week and have been loosing weight. She still feels the need to reach for my stomach (before i grab her hand) and say something like ehh doesn't look like its going anywhere. This from the woman that doesn't work out and eats whatever she feels like eating. ughhh

Irish- Every single thing that I pin on my Pintrest Are things I intend to make or buy. I have done SO many DIY projects now, and have made half the stuff in my food board. True story. I think it's awesome. I described it to someone as a "favorites" folder but with pictures. It's so true... Because most of the recipes I have pinned on there are things I HAD in my "food favorites" folder in my browser. Now it's just easier to see and remember what it is before I click on it. LOVE! (and my Laundry room looks awesome now thanks to DIY Pintrest stuff :P haha)

CAB- You weren't a biitch. I'm pretty sure I was. And I don't really care. It's how I feel about it. Same with the whole "designer dog" crap. I'm just blunt today... Luckily Samij likes it so that's all the gratification I need hahaha

Kendall- 30-60 minutes, 6 times a week is normal (okay maybe not NORMAL, but totally in the realm of safe and healthy). I do about 90 minutes 5 times a week. I wouldn't stress that.

Hikey- No. No you won't. You may hate it sometimes, but you are too incredible of a role model to leave those children that have so much self-esteem, knowledge, and courtesy to learn from you.
ALso- 4 mini peppermint patties is a sad excuse for a confession. Come back to me when you eat a whole pie or something. Seriously ladies? Work on that appetite!!! hahahah

Kendall- I suggest you hop on something like Livestrong.com to food log  as Samij suggests to make sure you are getting everything you need foodwise, if you are going to hit the gym so much. Also make sure you aren't doing the same muscle group two days in a row and stretching properly. I'm sure you'll be golden.

Intros don't bother me if they stick around. I like it, and it helps me remember that person better if they aren't as frequent as us. Teada has posted a few times since her intro so I appreciate that. :P

I confess my depression has been getting the best of me lately. I'm really frustrated my meds aren't making any sort of difference and I think I need to go back to counseling but I don't know where to go or when I'd have time to go. Ugh

Zim-check out if your state has mental health clinics. Many of them work on a sliding scale based on your income if you don't have insurance. We have clients that pay like a $1 for a visit.

I love Pinterest. Between that and here and Facebook, it is what gets me through my day. My confession is I don't know how much longer I can stand my boss before I storm out and quit. I can't afford to be unemployed, but it's slowly killing my soul. It is 39 weeks until I can quit and we move. Yes, I'm counting down, and I don't even know (except for my siggy) how long until we get married. I also confess that I have no idea what I want to do professionally. I fear my Dad thinks I'm just becoming a military wife and basing my identity on that, but I really feel that isn't true. Becoming a military wife will be what allows me to pursue my interests without having to deal with a lack of health insurance, stable income for bills, etc. I can take more risks with less fear of failure. I am so grateful to FI for supporting me in that way, so I can figure out my dream. But I secretly fear that I'm just plain lazy and not good at anything as a job. I get frustrated or annoyed and I tend to shut down. Like now - I hate my boss, but otherwise it is a good job with a good company and good senior management. But I can't seem to compartmentalize and move forward, I just want to shut down and run away from the problem. I used to be so good at handling conflict, and now I avoid it at all costs.

Cal- I heart you. Don't worry about not knowing. It's ok to not know.  You are not lazy at all! You will figure it out. It sucks you're in a job you hate because you can't even begin to think about what you want to do, except you know its not that. 

Zim-many clinics also offer night/saturday hours. They are generally pretty good about getting people in. I used to squeeze people in everywhere, even if it was only a half hour session.
