My class was giant- 800 students... So, although there were clicks and very obviously the 'popular' kids, I honestly think there was every type of click there. I was in the nerdy/smart group, except I honestly wasn't that nerdy. All my friends got into really good colleges and such and took all of these college classes in highschool, but I didn't. So I didn't really fit in that well there. But they were still my friends. I was also in the 'band' click. I sucked at my instrument, but I loved band. I fit in there.

I was a bit shy but I was well known not quite in the "in-crowd" I was a varsity cheerleader, but I was also a theater geek, a choir geek.  I did a bunch of things and different clubs, social and academic. I was a good student and never in trouble.  I went to a huge high school my graduating class was over 300.

I was a cheerleader for the 1st two years and a literary and fine arts nerd for the last two. I was always well-liked. Nobody was really "popular." It was a small school.

I was your average band kid.  I spun for colorguard, since I don't play a band instrument (but played my violin in a more prestigious community orchestra).  I pretty much ignored anyone I didn't like, and didn't give a sh!t about anyone who didn't like me.  I had a lot more acquaintances than friends...but my friends were mostly in the marching band/indoor drumline or winterguard.  The others were people here and there from my AP classes.

I was a cheerleader, and hung out with a lot of the bitchier "mean girls" freshman year... It took until senior year to fix my reputation back to a nice girl. I still hang out with my 2 best friends from high school. None of the mean girls though!

I was the "Romy and Michelle" for sure.
My best friend and I were inseperable (and still are!) and everyone knew that about us. You'd never see one of us without the other. We had other friends, but were pretty much just us two overall.

I guess we were just.. us.

ETA: Oh, and I always had a boyfriend throughout HS. My big HS relationship was with a guy who was out of HS, so I wasn't really concerned with hanging out with people my own age or anything. In a way, I regret that and in a way I don't. Had I been single, I would have experienced more of HS (and college!) .. but because of the experience I got at a young age, I am now with the person I want to be with forever. I'm almost 21 and he's 27. Our 6.5 year age difference would have never worked if I wasn't such a mawmaw for my age, haha ;)
