I find the "perfect" responses to be a little high.

And to the wusses who think we are meanie heads, why do you still lurk here?  Oh, it's probably because you LIKE seeing the other people get their asses handed to them.  Here's your crate.  Would you like some hippos?

I didn't get flamed.  I think I jumped right into flaming, but that was long ago. (Or relatively long ago, haha.)

I got a bunch of responses to my first post, but they were all pretty helpful. Not in a rainbows, sunshine and puppies sort of way... but not flamey, either.

I did not get flamed in my intro post. Since then I have been very neutral. I also came at the same time as a bunch of BSC newbs so maybe they distracted everyone when I was new. It also sucked because everyone was on a huge hating every newbie at the time too. I think I've done okay from there though.

E is actually quite tame. Except when they do their FFF (Flame Free Fridays).

I LOVED E's FFF!  But I never felt like I was enough of a "member of the group" to join in.  I didn't know or hate anyone on E enough to flame them, but it was interesting to see the regs go after each other.

Luckily I haven't been flamed yet, but I've only had about 4 posts. I think my first post was actually on the E board, asking for suggestions on where to find handcrafted rings (my bf and I were visiting some stores to look at rings, but I wanted to try and find something that looked a little different) and I got a couple helpful suggestions. But I'm new yet, I'm sure the time will come for me to get flamed about something. Wink

I pretty much only lurk and occasionally comment because
    1) i'm not engaged so I have nothing to talk about. basically- i'm boring :(
    2) I'll be honest, I'm a newbie so I'm afraid of getting flamed.

I lurk some of the other boards as well, but this is easily my favourite. I find the posts to be the most enjoyable/funny.

Anyways, I voted No because I'm perfect, but that's only because it was the closest to my scenario.

I don't have an intro post Undecided is that bad?

I picked "No, but I don't know why not. You guys should have ripped me a new one." because I wasn't flamed for being in a serious relationship shortly after splitting with my exH and have seen other newbs recently get a lot of side eye and questioning over similar situations.  If I remember correctly I mentioned how even though I knew BF (now FI) for many years I still kept him from my son for months just in case things flopped... maybe that was my saving grace?
