I think this is really sad. I have been around for awhile and what happened on this board yesterday was immature and pretty disgusting. This board could be a real resource for people and it turned into middle school garbage.

I just realized I've technically been on TK longer than you. Weird.

Anyway. For what it's worth, I'm really sorry about what happened last night.  Like you, I have been on here long enough to be able to say that I've never seen such disgusting and immature behavior on these forums before, especially not between regs. I didn't always agree with the levels of snark that did exist, but it was never so childish and well...dumb. While I don't have plans to GBCK, I am considering taking another break from the boards myself due to that display.

I'll miss you, Oceana. You made me laugh a lot. I hope to see your AW of your wedding.

If that's what you feel you need to do, then you should do it.  I will say that although we have certainly had our differences, you did sometimes give good advice.

I'm sorry I'm late to the party, but I'm really sad to read this.  It just pisses me off that an innocent thread led to this.  I see nothing wrong with the thread that you started.  It's way less obnoxious than paging a whole lot of people. I hope you'll reconsider.  I'm not around that much, but I do scan for interesting topics and people who I know.  I'd love to scan and see a post by you.  I've never found you to be mean spirited.  And you've always offered great advice.  

If you are staying on TK, but not just this board, I'm on the Budget board quite a bit.  Come on over
