Run / Gym Music

Ok gang, my tunes are getting a little old. I've got a long run on Friday and could use some new motivation. I tend to lean towards dance-type remixes (thank you gays) but am open to other stuff. Just keep me movin'! Bonus points for things available on iTunes.

And GO!! :) Thanks

Personally, hard rock gets me going when I work out. My suggestions include "Cowboys from Hell" by Pantera and "Detroit Rock City" by KISS. I do also like Cascada, DHL and of course, GaGa.

I like 80's pop songs... my favorite work out song of all times is Pat Benetar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot".

I'm with GPB, Hard rock/Metal really gets me motivated!

I know it is so cheesy but "We will rock you" by Queen really gets me going.

I like a lot of electro-style pop to work out to! Panic at the Disco (only the early stuff, though, from the Fever You Can't Sweat Out album), Cobra Starship and 3OH!3 are at the top of my workout playlist.

I'm with GPB and Penny on the hard rock one too.  Nothing like a little System of a Down and Slipknot to get ya going. LOL.

Ditto bella on the Panic at the Disco too...I only like their first album and they have a pretty good beat that's easy to work out to.  I also like a lot of Bad Religion stuff (not just for working out), but a lot of their songs are pretty quick.  It helps me keep up my pace.

Thanks ladies! I'll check these out. iTunes also thanks you for your support. I'm guessing the tab will be a little high on my next iTunes purchase. :)

Cate - For some reason I can't pinpoint, I absolutely LOATHE Pat Benetar. Bizarre but true!Laughing
