I don't know about you all, but sometimes it seems like life is so crazy that we forget to have US time. Do you all have a regular 'date night' with your SO? And what do you do on your date nights?
I just txt FI and told him we desperately need a date night, especially before the wedding. We've both been stressed out about so much and the wedding that we haven't really had a night to just be together and have fun without thinking of all the craziness going on.
Re: Date Night
BF and I don't live together, so we see each other most Saturdays which you could call our date night. We don't always go out, we do just like to stay in and watch movies or whatever...
I've had friends tell me that we're really good at coming up with date ideas though. We do regular stuff like dinner and movies, but we also go to theatres a fair amount as well. Magic shows are our favourite! Glow in the dark mini putt is always fun too

Me and BF pretty much do the same...
We have discovered this really cool comic book store in my town and we are going this Sunday...we like browsing through bookstores (cuz we're nerds like that)
We go see movies when we got out...dinner sometimes. We usually plan a date night like once a month or so.
I'm pretty sure we will be seeing Jackass 3D soon.
LOL @ Jackass 3D - I have a feeling we'll be going to see that too. I used to always resist and say I hated Jackass, but in a strange, sick way, it's pretty dang funny.
Oh, and speaking of date nights - Have any of you seen that movie - Date Night? After we seen it we said we were going to start calling ourselves The Triplehorns when we made reservations. Hah.

IT'S A KILL SHOT!
We each take turns planning date night. The great thing is that we have a week to come up with an idea. 2 weeks ago, my idea was to re-create our first date 3-years ago. Last week, he decided to make it "Friday on Wednesday" so we went to TGIF. This week was dinner and a movie.
Next week, I was thinking we'll make it a "Mii night" since its my turn to plan. Yes, we're corny like that :-).
We don't put too much pressure on each other though as far as coming up with ideas. We just promised each other that we'll put some thought into it. Even if it is finding the closest Chipotle or an awesome restaurant coupon deal. It all counts because we know we were thinking of each other when planning it.

Thanks girl. How are you doing? You're getting wicked close! Are you done with all your planning?
Its funny but every time I see your name, I think "she must be a NY Yankees fan" :).

Hah - Nooo way not a Yankees fan at all - GO CARDINALS! Things are going good - no not done with everything but I figure it'll either come together or it won't. I think I've gotten to the point where I'm so stressed out that I just don't care - as long as we end up married, that's all that matters!
[QUOTE]That was a great movie. I am gonna miss Micheal Scott on the Office...

Ditto this. If only Steve Carell were that outgoing IRL. He came into BBB when I worked there. I tried to have a conversation with him but he wasn't having it. I thought he would because I wasn't all starstruck, but oh well.
We have to keep it cheap cause we are in college, so a lot of our "dates" are on campus and we use our "flex points" which is just code for dollars that are only good on campus. However I am all good with this, because used to we only saw each other on weekends, and now we see each other pretty much every day.

Not sad at all, I'm actually very, VERY jealous.
Last night at Farmer's Market I got a delicious chocolate-chocolate cupcake with pretty purple sprinkles on it
Life is good today.
The best (which we don't do as often anymore) is to go to "beginner's night" at the local ballroom dace studio followed by the Cheesecake Factory for dinner.
Last Friday night we got dinner and saw "Easy A," which was pretty funny.
I haz a planning bio
