i got my wedding shoes this weekend! holla! and I watched the golf Masters all day yesterday with FI (he's a big golfer). oh! and i went glow-in-the-dark mini golfing on Friday night with a bunch of girlfriends.

o0! I love glow in the dark mini put! Sooo much fun!

I had a great weekend! Boyfriend and I went to lunch with my mom and sister on Saturday, did errands and hung out.  Then yesterday we had our "Date Sunday".  We did lunch, did some video game shopping (for him) and some ring shopping (SQUEEEEEEEEE!!), went for a walk, played with the dogs in the yard and it was beautifully sunny!  Lovely weekend all around.

oh la la!! ring shopping, how fun! are you picking it out or giving him ideas? so exciting! We never went ring shopping, but it sounds fun!!


I will PIP the shoes later! They are wedges with an ankle strap and strappyness. I'm going to dye them bright blue! and then add a fun shoe clip to make them interesting!! i can't wait!

think i can make shoe clips out of some vintage clip on earrings?

Ring shopping was exciting!! He asked me to send him stuff I liked about 6 months ago and then when we were out yesterday I was like "I want to look at that necklace!"  And while we were in the store he wandered over to the rings.  So I strolled over and we looked at them together.  I showed him what I liked and he showed me what he liked (we're on the same page!!haha).  It was just a quick trip in (20 mins) but it was nice:)

Vintage earrings work really well as shoe clips! I've used them before...although I reccomend using a hidden stitch or two to hold the earring on, even with a new backing.  It just ensures you won't lose them!

Goooood Morning Sunshine!!  Well, this was my last "alone weekend".  I went and said a few goodbyes to family members because I don't think I'll have the chance before I move.  Other than that I finished going through my storage unit and now have a ton of stuff to take to Goodwill...  Was a pretty low key weekend and I'm SOO glad it's over! 

kat - glow in the dark mini golf sounds like a BLAAAST!  I'm terrible at regular golf, but mini golf I'm a pro at!

Paige - What a great weekend it sounds like you had!  Happy to hear you had such a good Sunday Date!

Jeter - that last weekend sucks!! It's very bittersweet, eh?  I remember packing all my stuff and being excited but then when friends pop by it's almost a downer.  Are you excited to be almost done?!  FI here you come!!

Good morning! My face is still really swollen, but I have accepted that I'm allergic to shellfish (finally, I know what it is... but i'm not happy about it) and I can see my cheekbones again, so it must be getting better.

This weekend we went and got BF a bike. He named it Seth.
I went to a gala and got to meet Laura Bush.
And... I went shopping.

All in all, a productive weekend.

Narwhal - atleast you've figured out what you're allergic to...now you can work on avioding it.  I'd be so sad if I was allergic to shellfish! But atleast the weekend went well aside from that.

Narwhal - Sorry to hear about the shellfish allergy.  Although I don't eat shellfish so I don't really know what you'll be missing.  I'm glad you're starting to feel better though!

Kat- Yay for finding wedges you like!  Can't wait to see them finished.

Aww Jeter- The last weekend does suck.  My last weekend home my godson (he's 6 and I'm his BFF) gave me a card.  It had a puppy on the front and it said "Here's the saddest goodbye that's ever been said..." I cried and cried.  You'll get through it though.

My weekend was pretty dull.  Shopping, laundry, and homework.  BUT we found out FBIL is moving out of the house very soon.  No more roommates!

Gooood morning ladies! I'm sitting here in a freshman science class (1st hour) and wondering how they get all this energy so early!??? I swear - I'm not a bad sub, they're reviewing for a test for tomorrow and I've had these kids a million times - they know what to do when I'm here, haha!

As for my weekend - not toooo eventful! Friday, after I got off work, FI and I went around shopping for entertainment centers.  I have a HUGE one in my living room, but it doesn't fit his TV - and after buying him a dresser and moving things around - we've determined we would like an e.c. that actually looks nice in the living room!  We found a few, and might purchase this weekend.  Saturday I had a car wash for my dance team - it was quite crazy.  The hose autozone let us use broke so I had to go buy a hose at home depot (which I don't need at my APT!!!).  So, the first hour was a bust - but, we made almost $300 in 1.5 hours, not tooo shabby! That night I was a crab - sunburnt and tired from the sun so we didn't do too much - stayed in and made dinner.  Yesterday I cleaned house and we went to MW to look at tuxes!  I think he wanted to go look at something he really cared about - and it was exciting! We picked one out for him, and I'm so excited about that now!
Whew.. long winded, sorry!

O! I 'designed' my wedding shoes too!

But fun Kelsey definitely came out Saturday night...that's what BF's friends call my drunk personality that has absolutely no sensor at all....like that time BF and I were at dinner with some friends for cinco de mayo and his ex who he had to get a restraining order against she's so crazy came and hovered over our table and I had to share that she wouldn't have sex, but she did love a good dildo. whooooops.

haha Paige you'd be safe....it's more of people who are annoying and II really don't like-the first girl I mentioned was because I was in the middle of a conversation with BF's ex-roommate and she crawls in his lap and starts making out with him!!! And she was talking crap about my sorority's philanthropy events which I planned this past year (We raised like $20,000, so she's just jealous).

Yes Paige, it was a very bittersweet weekend.  I spend most of Saturday by myself, which was kind of nice to have my last "Me Day".  But on the other hand, I am sooo excited the time is FINALLY here...Waited a long time for this!

kat - This weekend FI is coming up to pack all my things and move them down there.  We of course have a fun weekend planned while he is here - going to the Cardinals game Friday night and then a sprint car race on Saturday.  He'll leave Sunday with all my things, but I have to stay and work another week so then next weekend I'll be making my last drive down there!!

Awww Ana - that IS the saddest goodbye ever!  I think my hardest goodbye will be next weekend when I go see my nephews and niece.  My brother and his family is really the only family I have...and it's going to be REALLY hard for me not to be near my nephews and niece...

Yes I can't wait until he leaves!  It's just been weird.  I didn't have any brothers so it was hard to adjust to living with a 30-something year old man who's basically a stranger to me.  Plus he ate all my food.  Maybe we'll get along better once we're not living together.

I plan on doing this. Both of my grandmothers wore clip-ons. I'm hoping that I can borrow a pair. My one grandmother passed away 4 years ago so I'm asking around if any of my aunts have any of her earrings.
 If not, I'll ask my living grandmother if I can borrow a pair of hers.

Ohh Ana - I can't believe I didn't even think of Skype!  My oldest nephew is 10, so he'll definitly want to do that. 

I agree with hetshup - I want to see some puffy face pics.

Oh and Kelsey, I got a good laugh out of your post - My FI had went over to a friend's house a few weeks ago to drink and watch UFC and by the end of the night he was texting me things like that.. toooo funny!  He even tried to update his Facebook status while being completely drunk - we all got a pretty good kick out of that the next day.  Drinking and Texting never mix!
