<div>It was very, very cold. lol But the ice that the mist created was awesome. We went to the Canadian side because the American side is really rundown. For the most part the touristy things were closed for the season or closed very early. We spent a lot of time in the room looking at the Falls from there, but we did venture out. We went on a horse and carriage ride. :)</div><div>

</div><div>It was definitely a unique experience. Around Christmas/New Years they have a few more things going on than at the end of January so I'd assume there would be a slightly bigger crowd.</div>

Oh, how pretty Deb! I love those winter pictures. It looks really magical.

Niagara on the Lake is really cute too! They have some neat stores and things to do there. I was just thinking today I'd like to go for a trip down there sometime close to Christmas. But I don't live very far so it isn't a big deal.

Paige - I'll get to NS some day. It's on my list, near the top, to see the East coast of Canada (and the West coast too). I have a friend moving out to NB in January, so I might get out there this coming summer.

And as for Niagara - Oh I'd definitely be going to the Canadian side, and those winter pictures look amazing! Now I definitely want to go! I don't think I've ever actually been to the American side. And it's not super far away for me either - definitely doable for 1 night or a day trip. I've never been to Niagara on the Lake, but my Mom loves it there! She loves the shops and wineries and stuff, it seems like a really cute town.

I realize I'm a bit late to the party.....buuuut....FI's and my anniversary is the 4th of July so we usually have something fun going on!  It's become a tradition to go to the Cubs game and hang out with friends.  We don't give gifts really, but on our first anniversary we decided to write notes to each other and he gave me a top 10 reasons why he loves me list!  

Now NEXT year we will be married by the time our dating anniversary comes around but we will be celebrating the 4th of July in Greece on our honeymoon!

Haha for sure.  My family is from Greece, so its nothing new for me, but I'm really excited to share that part of my life with my FI (DH at that point!)
