I always thought that too, Mutley.  But then I went with my sister to get new bras, and she has always been a DD, she thought.  Never pregnant, just natural enormous boobs.  Then she got sized and they explained to her that she actually needed an F.  She flipped out for a minute until they explained to her that it is actually a DDD and a DD is an E.

ETA: You can usually find some really large sizes in the boxed bras.  It's when you have a small band size with a big cup size where it becomes difficult.  Like I'm a 32C and it is nearly impossibly to find any, I can't imagine how it would be for any bigger sizes.

Just get pregnant.  Your ribcage can grow as well.  (NOT happy about this.)

Rach, I have NO idea.  This whole having booooobies thing is still new to me.  I just know that I refuse to keep buying bras.  I have gotten such conflicting advice as to what kind of bras to buy from here on out that I am not buying any for awhile.

P.S. Is your DH working tonight as well?  (Well, mine isn't working right now, but he is in Arkansas for work.)

It's pretty much impossible to find my size. It was really hard when I was a 32C but that doesn't fit anymore. So I wear a 32D(it's not that much bigger than what I need) and even Fredricks and VS barely carry normal colors in them.

I don't even know how you would find Fs..

    I have a feeling that I'm going to get HUGE when I get pregnant - I'm a 34B right now so maybe it won't be too bad but still <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif" border="0" alt="Frown" title="Frown" />

I think if I was in your shoes I'd wait until my current bra just got uncomfortable before getting something bigger and then buy the bigger ones after giving birth since you will get bigger you know?

Ugh, yes he is - but atleast I'll be able to see him when he gets home in the morning this time! The other day he went straight from the FD to his side job and I didn't see him until I got home from class that evening.

It's hard I have to admit but I did sort of get used to it since we were long distance for so long and even when I went down to visit him there were days where I was sleeping here by myself when he was at work. Now that we've been co-habiting for last year and half it's more difficult so unless I have to get up early I just stay up until I'm tired like I'm doing tonight.

Oh and not really related but back  then he had a roommate who was almost never there but every now and then he'd sleep here since he 'lived' here you know? It was kind of awkward when he came home and DH was at work because I didn't really know him. He definitely took advantage of being a firefighter with the ladies. At least he never brought them back here.

The advantage to him not being here though is that I get the whole bed to myself AND I don't get woken up by his snoring

I am taking the staying up route as well.  Normally, I am out by 8:30 or so.  Contemplating letting the mutts sleep in the bed tonight.
  • edited December 2011
My animals get on the bed any chance they get it seems - we usually kick the cats out because they want to play on the bed and that just doesn't fly when we're ready for sleep. Sashca (pom) is fine when she decides to sleep on the bed but she usually sleeps under the bed but it's Maddie (St. Bernard/German shepherd mix) that cause problems. She's finally learned that she just doesn't fit on the bed with us and sleeps either in the bathroom or on her bed. She still cheats though - she'll lay with me when DH gets up in the morning.

Zoe used to always sleep in my bed, before I met DH.  Klaus is still in his crate at night and Zoe has her own bed.  They aren't actually allowed in rooms with carpet.  I might bend the rules tonight.  However, it would be my first time testing it out.
  • edited December 2011
Sasha has always slept with us too  - well at least in the same room as us. She seems to prefer to sleep somewhere she can hide like under the bed or under the couch. Maddie will pretty much sleep wherever - she's not too picky.

I've always found comfort sleeping with an animal nearby for some reason but we always had an animal or 3 when we were growing up so that probably plays into it. I take it Klaus has gotten used to sleeping in his crate? I would think that as long as it's not a regular thing when you bend the rules you shouldn't have too much trouble with getting them back into their normal routine

He loves his crate.  He takes naps in there during the day (when he isn't trying to hog Zoe's bed.)

I think this will make me feel better.  I am going to go try and fall asleep.  'See' ya tomorrow!

Ackkk.  Only 4 more nights of not knowing if we're have a boy or a girl monkey!

Yup, that's me!  FI *loves* pirates.  He seriously wants to be a pirate.  His biggest claim to fame so far is that he rode Pirates of the Caribbean dressed as a pirate last year at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, and Captain Hook came up to him on the sidelines of the parade and was acting like he was all upset that there was another pirate captain in Disney World.  It's was frakin' hilarious.

Of course, FI has upgraded his jacket since that Halloween party.  His new one he bought at Pirate Fest on Tybee Island.  Yea, we have a whole weekend where people dress up as pirates and walk around the beach drunk as p!ss off rum.
