I like that they tightened the rules up a bit because I thought it got too catty and wasn't fun to read anymore with the same picture going back and forth.

haha yeah I saw that - there was also one a couple of days ago saying 'why are there so many engaged/married people posting on a board called 'Not Engaged Yet?' I laughed at that one because it's apparently so unfathomable that we were once not enaged - I mean come on it's not like I was born married.

I've seen it, it makes me so sad that many of these women are newlyweds or engaged and already doomed to have a failed marriage. There was a horrible on for the Bumpies, she was raped the day after being with her BF, got pregnant and didn't know who that dad was. So she was raped, didn't go to the cops to keep him from doing it someone else, then lived waited while pregnant to find out who the dad was. I would have been in the loony bin if I was that one.

I think I remember that one hetshup - some of these make me really sad and I hope that those people get the help that they need. All the cheating one's really piss me off though - if you don't want to be with your FI/DH then leave but don't cheat on him. <---I feel really strongly about this

It started about a week or so ago, the knot post secret then it expanded and there is also the bump post secret and the nest post secret

It's TheKnotPostSecret oceans - It actually started as the niner post secret (my club board) and then expanded to the knot post secret then it spread to the bump and the nest now

That was all kind of amusing. I think uppity people use the word "uppity" to describe other snobs, but I've never actually heard it used.

We sure take a lot of crap for being snarky. I think we've been pretty nice lately. We just don't have a lot of patience for pregos who don't know how dark the baby will be because they aren't sure who the baby daddy is and want to hurry up and get married right away... Remember that one? We even gave her some objective advice.

I was born married. And I was divorced by age 2 when I pooped my diaper. He was a jerk, srsly. And he cried too much. I have no tolerance for a grown baby who would rather throw his mashed banana instead of eating it.

I just thought that secret was really awful... because, well, it's not a secret. It's a random question. Though I can see why the person would want to keep it anonymous, since the answer should smack them in the face. It works both ways, no? I mean, doesn't this person also wonder why people who are Not Yet Engaged (me!) post in other forums besides this one? Are we supposed to be chained in here until the Day of the Question? Are engagement rings really that powerful that they can unleash us from this forum so we may wreak havoc upon other boards and spread our wisdom and wit elsewhere?
