That was so weird!

So I'm sitting at home, 1/2 watching the Jets game (NHL Jets, not NFL) and the announcer just announced that the Jets scored. So I pick up my phone to text my BF (who is at the game), and then like RIGHT when I hit send, they scored "again".

 I say "again" because they didn't actually score the first time. I wasn't really paying attention, and didn't bother checking the score, I just heard that they scored, didn't hear the announcer say after that they didn't actually.

 When they scored "again" and all of a sudden I saw that it was 1-1, I had to rewind the game (I'm PVR'ing it) to see what happened. It was just weird that as I texted "Yay! Jets scored!" they actually did score... Maybe I need to keep texting "Yay! Jets scored!"?

Anything weird happen to you all lately?

I got this huge carmel apple dipped in crushed butterfingers (very yummy) as a gift from a client today, seriously the thing is huge and must weight like 2-3 lbs, so I've been trying to figure out how eat the darn thing.  I gave up though, may be I'll try tomorrow night.  Going back to some wine and a book now.
