[QUOTE]I will play! I hate anything and everything pork, so yes that means I do not eat bacon. I cannot stand the sound of people chewing, biting their nails, breathing or snoring. Becaese of the last part, when FI has to be to work super early in the morning and goes to bed at 7:30 at night, I sleep on the couch. Due to his loud breathing/snoring I lay there wide awake if I go to bed after him. I was a pole vaulter in high school until I had to have knee surgery from a soccer injury and then shortly after that got in a car accident and messed up my back.

We started out with those ropes you had to climb in gym class. Once you were able to swing and pull yourself upside down, then you moved on to the pole and just mats, until eventually you got the hang of it and started going over the bar. It was a lot of upper body strength thats for sure.

Whenever I have a pill bottle that has cotton in it, Tyler has to take the cotton out for me because the sound makes me gag. At my first weekend at Wittenberg, I actually wandered the hallways to find someone in her dorm room so I could get her to remove cotton from a bottle of Benadryl that I'd bought.

Aw, hugs!  I'm not a big fan of the sound, but I was thinking that cotton balls would deter you from your life's work.  I'm glad they don't!  Needles detered me from being a doctor, but frankly, I like teaching better (and I get sick all the time teaching, so I just imagine it'd be worse doctoring)

I had a roommate once upon a time who chewed with her mouth open and loudly smacked her food. Worst, most disgusting experience of my life. I used to picture what family dinners would be like for her, with her parents and brother all loudly smacking, talking, chewing with the mouths open, food spewing everywhere. It made me sick to my stomach.

I'm a little boring, but here it goes!

I have an MBA, which is damn near useless when not paired with relevant job experience.

I love food, particularly things that are bad for you, particularly when paired with wine.

I did lots of stereotypical, girly things in my "youth."  Twelve years of dance, five years of cheerleading, and a full four years of sorority life in college.

I'm cranky today.  I think it's because one of my contacts is fuzzy.  I really hate that.

    I'll play...

-I used to sing opera and my high school choir was just like Glee (I'm convinced someone was secretly taping us and waiting to make it into a TV series 10 or so years after the fact).

-I'm the first of my immediate family to graduate college much less grad school.

-Wine is my weakness...especially really expensive, white wine.

-My brother-in-law's brother bought a new suit for my upcoming wedding with FI (which is fairly formal) and its bright yellow...I seceretly can't wait to see it.

I hate jumping in on threads this long, but I'm a chatty cathy today, so I'll play.

I don't like soup. I really have to be in the mood for it or I won't eat it.

Powdered milk makes me vomit. And I work with it in the summer during our Slime Olympics. It's the worst part of my job. And the hardest part of my internship.

Schiano, I played flute in middle school all the way through college. I miss my piccolo more.

I was really really really good on my piccolo, and I could have been better if I just practiced.

I think it depends on your undergrad degree and what you want to do.  I also probably wouldn't be in my current job without my MBA because I don't think i would have been hired from my acting experience!  It should help though as you begin to move up in your career!

Mine! I hope I'm not too late!

    - I know I don't look like it now, but I was a phenomenal athlete in high school. I still hold my high school record in the triple jump, and I was second in the state my senior year. I was also an all-state field hockey player. I scored what should have been the game-winning goal in the state championship my senior year, but the ref called it back. I'm still bitter.

    - I'm actually quite artistic. I took classes at the Maine College of Art when I was in high school. I still sometimes get the urge to draw/paint/etc. and I don't do it nearly as much as I would like.

    - I've been riding horses since I was three years old. My uncle put me on a horse when I was six weeks (yes, weeks) old, and I've been obsessed ever since. I think they are amazing creatures, I want to own one someday, and it makes me cry when people talk about eating horsemeat.

    - Also from when I was a baby, I walked when I was 7.5 months old. My mom used to tell me that, but I didn't believe her until I was home at Christmas and read my baby book, where she wrote it real time that I took my first steps at 7.5 months old. This was also because of my uncle, who was 16 when I was born - he would come home from school and (as soon as I could hold myself up) walk me around the house. I never crawled, I just walked.

    - I haven't spoken to this same uncle since November because we had a fight on Facebook about gay marriage.

-Everyone in my office, and on my Facebook feed is super excited about this new pope business, and I couldn't care less. I guess it's a big deal, but I don't really get it.

Am I too late to play?

    - I have a tendancy to chew on ice - hate me all you want, but as long as it's not food, i'm good with it! lol

    - I danced for 15 years growing up and miss it so much. I joined the dance team in college and kind of regret it now- very little dancing, just a lot of drama. But, i was the only white girl my senior year - I stuck out like a sore thumb, but I could krunk with the rest of them .  :( I'm looking for adult tap classes in my area but the closest one is like 45 minutes away according to mapquest, probably more according to rushhour.

    - I picked my nose up until highschool (gross I know, I think it was a nervous habit)

    - freak out if the same section of skin gets rubbed repeatedly, like if I have to itch the inside of my wrist, elbow, neck, the top of my foot.... I get the willies.

Sydaries- I've been dancing since I was 2 I still take adult classes this year I'm taking modern but I mostly do ballet.  I enjoy that so much more than paying for a gym membership too!  I just did a show that had a lot of tap dancing in it. It was so much fun even though I'm not the best tapper.Hopefully you can find a closer dance school that offers adult classes.
