• Oh - as far as the cotton ball thing, I hate the noise, but worse than that is cotton fabric... at a basketball game the other day, one of the guys on the other team was chewing on a towel, and it was giving me the squickies. Ack. I just got the shivers thinking about it.

Also... High School. Two words. FUCKK.
Sydaries- I've been dancing since I was 2 I still take adult classes this year I'm taking modern but I mostly do ballet. I enjoy that so much more than paying for a gym membership too! I just did a show that had a lot of tap dancing in it. It was so much fun even though I'm not the best tapper.Hopefully you can find a closer dance school that offers adult classes.
    Posted by danser55
There are a few around here that offer adult classes, but not specifically tap :/ And I want to go back to my old studio but it's more expensive than my gym membership and I know the women who dance there now - I used to dance with them - and we never really got along lol I love ballet also! I did pointe for 7 years? I think? I need to at least start doing barre stretches on the regular to revive my ballet muscles!

  • When I'm at the gym, I hold my towel with my mouth as I take off my sports bra (put that in your spank bank) so that way my boobies aren't hanging out too much, and it grosses me out when I accidentally touch the towel to my teeth!

  • Oh I have another thing to share. Ex bf and I moved in together. Two days later he admitted he met someone else. I moved out the next day. As a parting gift I used his toothbrush as a toilet brush and farted on his pillow. I also took his Star Wars and comic book collections and sold them all. This was more a confession than anything but I feel good about it.

  • Hmm.

I was homeschooled until 6th grade.

I love horses and I miss my horse :( I play online horse games to make up for it.

I love school and learning. I tend to not be motivated so being in school requires me to be motivated.

I am an incredibly picky eater and people often give me flak about it, which pisses me off.

As you all know, I am conservative which pisses you guys off ;)

I was on pointe for 10 years my poor toes hated me for it. I haven't been able to find adult pointe classes that are non professional. Adult Tap classes can be hard to find, I haven't found too many around here!

The entire reason I started with my studio was that they have adult tap classes. For awhile we had two classes (beginner and int/adv). Now we're just back to one. It's hard to find unless a community college offers it.
  • I haven't looked too much for adult tap classes honestly but the company and studio I dance with offers jazz, modern and ballet. That is my forte anyway. I never thought of checking out a community college for tap classes. Whenever I do tap it mostly in shows, like the one I just did.
