Thursday excitement

I have had an exciting Thursday so far...

1- I went to the dentist for a cleaning and found out I need to get a crown asap. I'm stlil going to try to push it until August, though.

2- I went into work, and about 15 minutes later the fire alarm went off. Turns out it was a real fire on the floor below ours. I'm now working from home because my boss assumed there'd be a strong smoke smell and didn't want to subject us to it.

3- My nephew and sister came home from the hospital today. Yippee!! I'm hoping to skype with them this afternoon.

So, what has made YOUR day exciting?

Nothing.  H is in bed sick and I'm still in my jammies.

The fire part would have scared me.

I have the day off...and I got new batteries for my vibrator.

Oh, and August isn't good for crowns.  You're getting engaged then.

1 - Done with work for the day by 7:30 am
2 - Fantastic market trip to TJ's for lots of delicious goodies
3 - Pedicure
4 - Yummy salad for lunch (from TJ's of course)
5 - Getting ready to pick up one of my best friends and her husband.  Haven't seen them in 2 1/2 years and this will be the first time they're meeting the BF! 
6 - Looking forward to spending a beautiful weekend with them!

I put in my proposed work schedule (we have to submit them a month ahead) for the week of my wedding and start of my honeymoon!!  only a month away!!!  it was really exciting to submit the schedule.

and today is my half-Friday.  I'm working half a day tomorrow, then off to purchase the flowers for the bouquets and bouts and to a doctor's appointment.  and then we're going to our shower with his family that evening.  it didn't look like we were going to have one, but his aunt said every couple needs a shower so she threw one together in a week.  I'm so excited.  it was really bumming me that none of my friends or family were planning to do anything. 

also, people started RSVPing for our RD today!!  it's just a busy day for me!

<div>We have fire drills from time to time, so it didn't seem like a big deal. We didn't find out there was an actual fire until after we were already out of the building. Luckily I had grabbed my purse and cell phone on my way out the door, so when we found out we couldn't get back into the building for awhile, I was able to just leave.</div>

Wow, glad everything's ok tiger! Sounds like an exciting day.

I saved us a bunch of money today with ads that are coming up, so I'm super excited we have extra money in the budget for other stuff.

BF trimmed the hedges around the AC unit so hopefully the fan can breathe a little better and the house won't get so hot. Sometimes I hate FL!

BF is also making us dinner tonight. He's making his (only) specialty - Shepards Pie. Yum!

Oh yeah, love this too lol I actually have a secret stash in my drawer so I can't find out one day that we ran out of AAs.

I'm not as broke as I thought I was going to be this month! BF and I have been overwhelmed with moving costs. That means I'll have extra money, so BF and I can do a small weekend get away next week for our 3 year anniversary. Yay!

I slept until 3:30 (still recovering from 6 nights of night shift). Now, I've been on the phone with AT&T for over an hour trying to get my new iPhone activated and my number imported. It's making me stabby. Also, I've now run out of time to go the gym this evening.

I am looking forward to going to the Italian Festival tonight with some girlfriends, so that's something good!

I haed a crown done last year I hate the dentist so much, so it wasn't fun.  It took 2 times to get the permanent crown back from the lab to fit me right.  it's all fine now.  I was such a wuss though...

I had a dog wake up from anesthesia super fast while having a ketamine trip, and he gave me a fat lip while I was restraining him

I also brought that pit mix I talked about here home today ...but Ubee (my German shepherd mix) is being a jealous turd and isn't making this a very fun sleepover
