I agree with the spiderpug. 

I live in one of the snowiest/coldest places in Canada south of the Territories.  Know what that means? I am expecting "flurries" by the end of this month and they will probably continue until May.  The snowbanks in January are taller than I am.

This weather post has made me realize that I hate my life.  *le sigh*

Yeah, we can easily get snow flurries by Halloween. I remember going trick or treating in the slush... also, when I was in Alberta in July we got some flurries. To be fair, we were in the mountains a bit. But still!

And on the topic of butt warmers, my papa has butt warmers that also have a butt cooler switch.

Breezer, you should come visit me in the land of no snow. We don't even know how to drive in rain here. If there was ever snow, eveything would grind to a halt...people would start to panic...it would be chaos!

I would love a Cali visit! That would be amazing... our driving weather is horrendous 8 months out of the year between the snow and rain. 

To be fair about Californians not driving in rain, we had a mini earthquake here in the summer (it was a 5.0 at the epicentre - which is 50 miles away).  The buildings shook, some traffic lights got knocked out... That was it and yet half of the city left work for a "stress" day.  It was in the news for the next week and the work damage in the entire city? A couple loose bricks fell out of a wall.

Driving in rain, sleet, snow, hail - no problem! But put us in a tremor zone and we'd be screwed! haha

FACT.

Fact that makes us seem lazier - the quake was in Quebec.  If the French people get the day off to go home and check on their stuff, damn right I'm taking the day off too. Vive l'Ottawa!

No snow here, though last January did get rather cold, and we spent several very cold days thinking our house didn't have any heat (quite common in Miami) until we realized our air conditioner could be turn on for heat.

My car was bought near Boston after college when I had no idea where in the world I'd be going.  So it's dark blue and has a black interior and butt warmers and rearview window defrosters.  How much of that do you think is useful in South Florida? None!

I don't know. FI's car has the butt warmers, and I like them on a cold day. I also get cold very easily. Like right now.
