  • RDR and Audrewuh, it will be a few days for a cardiologist to review the data and pass it to my doctor, who will tell me. Probably next Tues or Weds.

The funny thing is they apparently switched to a new system (I'd hate to see the old one--this looked antiquated) and I was the first patient. The medical assistant wasn't quite sure how to upload the data and obviously was not good with computers, so I helped her.

  • Gah, Homecoming was so long ago for me.  I feel old:(  Ours was a big deal, but it was the day after so we could spend a ridiculous amount of time getting ready for it. My mom never understood and hated it because hers was the night of the game.   She hated that we spent so much on our dresses.   I think we did mums, too, but they were for the football players moms???

Homecoming for me now usually means a trip back up to Grand Rapids for my college homecoming.  I try to make it as often as I can.  Sadly there will be no tailgating for me this year:(

Yeah, I know. She was really sweet, though. I showed her that the tab key would allow her to go from box to box without the mouse. The software for this monitor looked like it was from 1990.

On the Homecoming topic, I never went to the dance, but I was on the float two or three years. The dance must have been the next day because it was never the same day as the game. We'd have Friday off to build the floats and the game was Friday night.

Members of my class were suspended junior year because of our float. The overall theme was Halloween, and our float's theme was Hell. There was a girl chained to an archway (not really, of course) who was being tortured by two other girls. A women's group complained and a couple people were suspended. It was the front page story of the school newspaper, which could have gotten us in more trouble except that California protects freedom of student press.

    Yeah, that was fun.
  • I feel like we had floats too. I was too punk to notice though.
  • Skyline chili is a local Cincinatti chili recipe.  They eat plain, on spaghetti, on spaghetti with cheese, on spaghetti with cheese and onions, or on hot dogs.  It does not taste like traditional chili. It has cinnamon and chocolate in it that makes it sweeter that traditional chili.  BF grew up in OH and loves the stuff.  I think its ok, but would make it for him.

<div>It's a breakfast meat. It's "scraps" of pork and cornmeal, formed into a block. You slice it and cook it like you'd cook bacon. I like mine with syrup or ketchup.</div><div>
</div><div>I will make it for you in 23 days!!!!!!!</div>

  • My dad's side of the family is Slovak, I can't even begin to tell you all the not normal things I grew up wth, that were normal to them.  It's makes holiday cooking interesting.

I've been laughing all day at all the new Bill Clinton photos featuring binders full of women.

I guess Romney's facebook page had some type of comparison between his and Obama's policies regarding women, blah blah blah. The first comment was "I don't like being in your binder. Please take me out". I almost spit my drink out.
