Do you wear jewelry from previous SO's?

I don't have jewelry from ex's, but if I did I'd probably wear it if I liked it. I know there are a couple of pieces from BF I would continue wearing regularly if we ever broke up because I love them that much. OP, if you feel like there's too much meaning behind the necklace, sell it and get a new one. It's not worth the agony.

I have jewelry from previous boyfriends, and I do occasionally wear it. Most pieces are fairly classic, and I don't see any reason to limit my selection or expect DH to replace things I already own. For the most part, I stopped wearing other rings when I got my engagement ring. I like it to stand alone (with my wedding band, of course), but I own a few nice amethyst and cz rings that I wore right up until I decided I liked the wedding set to get all the glory. I also have a couple of necklaces and earrings from ex-bfs... and my actual jewely BOX was a gift from an ex-bf's mom who considered me her future daughter-in-law at the time. It's a nice honkin' wooden jewelry box with a mirror.

I am more likely to wear something DH gave me than something anyone else gave me- including friends, family members, etc. He has given me several beautiful pieces of jewelry and I'm sure over time his gifts will take over that jewelry box. But just because I like the way something looks doesn't mean it holds any sentimental value... and if it does, it's simply a "Oh, I remember those days. I'm glad I'm here now."

I thnk DH knows that. Those guys may have given me trinkets, but DH still got the girl. He's not jealous.

I just gotta say: What's the point of having ex-boyfriends if you didn't get any good jewelry out of it?

I have some nice stuff from an ex.  He bought me a lot of bling and it was good stuff.  It's beautiful, although most of it more formal than what I wear everyday, I do wear it sometimes. FBD knows it's from someone else and it doesn't bother him or me.  It's just nice jewellery that I happen to have received as a gift

I totally saw the SO thread first and wrote that I wear an old engagement ring on my right hand there... but none of my exes got me jewelry... but I wasn't huge on jewelry, really. Mostly just costume stuff I wear to match my outfits. :P My mom is basically the only one in my life who buys me jewelry...

I wear all my jewelry from old boyfriends. I got rid of the stuff I didn't love (bc I didn't have to keep it anymore!) but I kept the stuff I liked.
