  • Sousa summed up the white zin thing nicely.  And it is true that most people start with white zin when they're beginners. 

    I was a bartender at a nicer restaurant throughout college.  Anytime someone would order white zin, I would give them a taste of our Riesling instead.  Because of this, it was our biggest seller.  It's a great wine to try if you like the sweeter stuff:
