I went dress shopping today at David's Bridal.  There was one style in particular that I have been fawning over for a few weeks online and really wanted to try on.  I was scared that since I loved it so much online, that it would look awful on me in person, but I was actually pleasantly surprised.  I would try other dresses, then keep putting that other one back on.  I'm not an emotional person when it comes to shopping, so I knew I would never have that crying moment, etc, but I felt good in it and couldn't stop smiling and walking around in it.  I didn't buy it tonight (I want to try on more, just in case), but I'm pretty sure I will soon

Anyways, here is the < link >to the pic online.  I'll post the ones of me actually wearing it when my sister emails them to me (she took them on her camera).  What do you guys think??

Ok...here are some pics of me wearing it.  This dress was actually in my size too, although I'd still have to get it altered down in some places, but at least it's a good idea of what it'd look like on me on the day.  Do you guys think it's too much??

I will say that I'm a particularly tough customer...I find flaws in just about every dress, no matter what designer or pricepoint. 

But I truly think you look beautiful in that dress.  It's stunning.  Really, really...WOW!

Thanks girls!  I really do love it.  Now I'm just debating if I should buy it now through DB or try to find it used online.  New it's about $125 more than I originally wanted to spend, so that's my big hesitation as of right now, especially knowing that it still will need to be altered slightly.

Ah! I've seen this dress. My friend tried it on a few months ago while she was looking for her wedding dress. This one was my vote but she didnt get it. She liked another one better! But I know how beautiful this dress is in person and you are one lucky girl! Good luck on finding the one!

Soooo....I was re-looking at davidsbridal.com and looked at my 2nd choice dress online again.  The thing that kept it from being #1 when I tried it on was that it was in ivory, which doesn't look good on me, and the belt on the dress was ugly.  It's a completely different look than the one above, but it's still a gorgeous dress.

So anyways, looking at it again online, I saw it in white and I really like it.  Also in the 'reviews' section for that dress, just about everyone hates the belt it comes with and many had posted pictures of it with a different belt.  I think with these changes, it just might push the dress up into my #1 pick.

Keeping in mind the dress above and THIS dress, what do you think?

Well I would opt (personally) for the one with sleeves, because I don't like to wear strapless dresses. . . BUT I think the one you posted first was really gorgeous on you. Is there a price difference?

I love love love the 2nd one!  But I'm partial to lace sleeves and keyhole backs.  And I find most strapless dresses incredibly similar. 

But no joke - that specific combination of lace sleeves and keyhole backs I find absolutely beautiful.
