Have you guys heard of 1 ingredient (banana) ice cream? Or has anyone tried it? Apparently you take a ripe banana, slice it, put it in the freezer on a plate, when it's frozen you put the slices into a food processor & blend for a few minutes, scraping the sides as necessary. After it gets crumbly it'll turn creamy & voila: ice cream!

Oh, and also, I forgot to mention that we had a drunk/stoned person come into our apartment last night at 2:30am. My parents are visiting, and apparently they didn't lock the door after they came in at some point last night. So this guy came into the guest bedroom and ripped the sheets and blankets off my parents bed, dropped his boxers, and was wrapped up in the sheets. Then he came into our bedroom and I FREAKED. I was like who are you, what are you doing, wtf???!!!

He was so completely trashed that he had no idea it wasn't his apartment. We kept telling him he didn't live here and he insisted that he did. Somehow we managed to convince him eventually that this wasn't his apartment, but then he was like 'so what do I do now?' And we were like give us back our blankets and leave. He said "well what do you want me to do? Just walk out there naked? Where am I supposed to go?"

Finally we were just like umm ok fine have the blankets and just get out of here. We finally got him to leave. The whole thing was so creepy. Blech.

Yeah it was really really freaky. I'm super glad it was nothing more serious, too. I think it's pretty much just par for the course- seriously, every time my parents visit something effed up happens. Last time there were people climbing up our fire escape and playing on the roof at 3am, and throwing pumpkins and chairs from the roof.

OMG Moo that's insane!  I am glad that the guy was chill and didn't get upset, some drunks are mean and quick to yell or fight.  I bet your parents will be double and triple checking that they locked the door from now on!

OMG!  Moo that is crazy!  I am glad you guys are ok. 

Update:  Lunch with Lyn was awesome!  She and her FI are soooo cool!  And Maus is  so freaking adorable!  I love her!!

Scary, Moo!

We went up to SF today to see Greg Proops (from "Whose Line is it Anyway?"). He has a podcast called Smartest Man in the World, and this was a taping of the podcast. He was so funny! He takes questions from the audience, so I asked him what his stance is on the Oxford comma. It turned into this big debate with the audience! Anyway, it should be on the next podcast.

Now we're off to a birthday dinner for a friend.
