- The DIY has swallowed me. PIP after this weekend.
- Helping out with another friend's wedding DIY on Saturday!
- spending much needed QT with my FI

As for me I'm working a half day (wo0t!!) Then this afternoon I think I'm going shopping and to the gym.  Tonight BF and I might go to a movie.  Or we might stay in, watch silly tv shows and drink some wine.  We haven't decided yet.

I'm dragging today. Hardly any sleep catches up with you. To make matters worse, I'm working all day followed by an exam so I wont be home until at least 7:30-8. BF comes home from Indiana tonight so I'm sure we'll be going out and I wont be in bed by 1am..

Definitely TGIF!!

Last night was interesting to say the least....one of the nice shopping center areas around my house has a beach music band every thursday night during the summer and I went with one of my really good friends....well she happens to live across the hall from BF's ex GF and we saw her and ended up talking to her and her new FI for like half an hour (super awkward) and then we went to her apt that was doing this outside music thing and she came and sat with us...and then BF came and it got super awkward...they didn't have the best break up and she kind of stalked him and for like months now she's been talking to my friend about arranging a meeting between us even though she knows like everything about me......

This weekend is going to be lots of fun. Saturday we have our annual Red & White game (NC State vs. NC State) for the Kay Yow Breast Cancer Foundation-it's only $1 donation to get into the game. And that night BF's BFF is throwing a co-birthday/we got jobs party.

I just got home from running a 5K and now I am going back to my regularly scheduled pretending-this-date-doesn't-exist-ness.

It's all over the news in most of VA. I was talking to a friend who graduated 2 years ago and lives up in DC now, and she said that no matter what channel she switched to on the radio or TV, they were talking about it.

As for me, subbing today (thank goodness!) hopefully just lounging around the house tonight.  FI and I are going to mouse races tomorrow night (a fundraiser for a local fire dept). and Dave and Busters Sunday for a birhtday!  I have a job interview Monday morning for a summer school position!  ahhh!!

TGIF! is right! I have no plans tonight or really for this weekend. Probably some DIY from the DIY typhoon that has hit me. I am trying to convince FI to take 1 last round of engagement pics on Sunday because I would like more than the 5 ok ones that we have currently.

Other than that -- 7.5 hours until freedom!!

For the weekend myself and my son are headed to BF's parents (love them) while BF stays home and has a much deserved boys weekend.

kat - Good luck with the bum doc. I nearly had to have surgery on my tailbone a few years back, I know those kind of things can be a total b*tch. ps. I want to be a DIY stalker, so be sure to post pics very soon I love the stuff you've come up with so far...

Zane - you all are in my thoughts and prayers today. My cousin had just graduated from VT when this all went down, and I thank my lucky stars every day that he wasn't there when it happened.

Jeter - GL with moving, and you better post some pics of your new digs soon! I'll be snapping those shots of my obscenely-sized collection of serving/entertaining dishes for you to ogle over sometime soon.

As for my plans, I'm going to post a S/O, because I'm afraid I might hijack this post...let's just say next week will be big.

My plan was to be in the UK by tonight but the vaolcano has won out on that plan. Hopefully I can get out sometime next week!!! So frustrating.

it's official. Surgery #2 scheduled for May 6.... one week before my bridal shower in Long Island.... I hope I'm better by then. It was that or wait until June. Sigh.

I bought myself a Blackened Tilapia Wrap to today isn't quite so crappy.

Yes, TGIF!!  Yes, this is sorta the BIG weekend!!  FI just got up here late last night (I hate that I'm having to work while he is in town - not fair!!)  Tonight we"re going to the Cardinals vs Mets game, tommorrow we are packing up all my things in his truck and trailer then going to the World of Outlaws race and then he'll leave Sunday morning.  Originally we had planned on me going down this weekend too but I'm having to work an extra week so I won't be going down til NEXT weekend..
