I am starting to shop for my wedding day makeup and need good suggestions for a good waterproof mascara. Preferrably one that makes my lashes look amazing!

the one in the orange someone posted about works great, but for some reason irritates my eyes- I've never had that happen before....I use some sort of maybeline in the big yellow tube- sorry thats not very descriptive, thats just how I always think of it.

Maybelline XXL It's the one with dual wands, one with white "volumizing" mascara and the other end is the color. I get lots of complements on my eye lashes because of it

I've spent a good deal of time searching for the perfect mascara. I've always wanted to try Diorshow, and I was considering purchasing it for my wedding. I don't necessarily mind the price. Drug store mascaras dry out after a month, six weeks tops. I can get at least two to three months out of a designer or department store brand. It all averages out in the end. You can spend $10 a month, or $20-$25 every two or three. One that I've tried and really, really like is Buxom Lash by Bare Minerals. It is around $18. It gives length and volume, and I've never had smearing or clumping issues. I've tried them all. Each has their pros and cons. Go with something you know how to work with!

I've been a devotee to Diorshow for 2 1/2 years now. I LOVE it! I can get a good 6 months of use out of one tube, so I don't even bat an eye at the $25 price tag. If you time it right, you can get the mascara along with a gift w/purchase, too. Diorshow now comes in Blackout too (their most blackest of black) and Blackout comes in waterproof as well. And don't forget Diorshow Iconic, in the chrome tube. It's a fantastic mascara too.

Tarte- lights camera lashes , it runs at about $18 or so, but its the best mascara I've ever used. Its ingredients don't irritate my eyes and clean up is a breeze, the give you volume and really open your eyes up well. I have very long lashes and I look for mascara that doesn't clump and that comes off easy and this one has won for me hands down. The brush I would say is the best par, it separate your lashes saving you time from reapplying.
