Brainstorming Geeky Ideas for My Wedding!

I think it would be cute to make the table names/ numbers out of scrabble tiles and holders. Like that:

[S][P][O][C][K]

You can buy the racks wholesale on ebay.

 

You could take used board games and pieces and make them into sculptures or vases or something to use as centerpieces. Let's say you cut up, folded, and glued a board into a vase. Then, take game cards, use them as petals for flowers. The game pieces could even be the flower center. 

 

You could make your own candles and put theme pieces in the wax.

 

During dinner, we're playing music that goes with our theme.

 

Also, threadless.com (a cool ass and nerdy tshirt site not like the rest) made this design once. I think it's cute, but it might be sad. But you're not sad- you found each other!

 I love the idea of using the BSG ''So say we all" into our vows somehow. That's the right level of geekiness for us. We don't play WoW or Final Fantasy, so I don't think including those things are quite us. (Thanks for the ideas though!) I also like the idea of putting board games on the tables to keep people entertained. We aren't doing assigned seats or table numbers, so we want to keep our guests mingling and talking. Our wedding and reception are going to be in a mountain-y outdoor setting, and I am ultimately going to try for a retro geeky theme ( Think 40's type Bioshock settings.) I changed my mind on the robot invites but I found some cool invites on etsy.com that look like old telegrams. More ideas would be appreciated! Thanks you guys!

Those are all things we've discussed in our wedding. The 2 of us are avid gamers, readers, nerds all around. We've decided on game themed tables with actual games to play at them, like our favorite board games, or at least some that don't take 6 hours to play.
I am pretty pretty crafty, but i also want to buy some items, but have had a hard time. I found cool save the date cards 8 bit super mario brosish cards on zazzle.com, and we've been awed at ETSY, but are there any other places to look?
We're looking to have an old nintendo type cake such as super mario brothers (hard to find a good topper),  or even the legend of zelda (even harder to find). I loved the portal themed cake, but not enough people know what that's all about.
