So my FI's birthday is in a few weeks and we decided to just do dinner at home with a couple we're close with. I'd like to make something extra special but he is currently following... the "caveman diet". Basically - he eats things that "cavemen" would have eaten. This rules out pretty much all food civilized people might want to eat.
I'm currently thinking about filet mignon and shrimp on the grill with asparagus but that just seems really blah to me for some reason.
Any suggestions of something more interesting to make?
