Hi...not sure if this is the proper forum to post this in, but decided it was the broadest topic!
My fiance and I got engaged early April and quickly booked the church and began looking at reception venues. Mid April he was hospitalized and after 2 weeks in the ICU, 6 surgeries, and another month of recovery he was able to finally come home in June. He insisted I keep up with the planning so we didn't miss out on the reception space or photographer that we wanted. In the midst of everyithing going on I neglected to think about what would happen if my fiance is hospitalized again, before or during the wedding. Would insurance be a good idea, or would it not even cover what has already been contracted? Perhaps this is something to address with the individual vendors instead? Has anyone found themselves in a situation where canceling their scheduled nupitals was out of their hands?
