FI and I (well mostly me) have been really behind on wedding planning, so it was great when we actually got some stuff done this weekend. We (mostly) got together the guest list for the rehearsal dinner, picked all our ceremony readings, have finally gotten in touch with most people who have not RSVP'd, and met with the caterer and venue coordinator.
For my rant I should prefice this by saying our reception is at a car museum. I am not someone who is picky about details but one thing I did want was a fun entrance to the reception. The venue coordinator told us when we met with her that we could actually drive into the museum for our entrance.
For our wedding car we hired a 1937 Packard (awesome) but the limo company has not been returning my calls or e-mails, nor have they cashed my deposit. I have sent in the signed contract 3 times (fax and e-mail) but haven't heard anything from them. Has anybody run into this with vendors? I don't want to try and hire another company because since I have signed the contract I will probably be liable for the cost. Advice?
